Slowly Monday made its big entrance with the alarm clock going off at 5:45 am I laid in bed thinking "please god please don't let that one kiss destroy my career"
I lied in the bed feeling sorry for myself for what felt like only a few seconds turned out to be a half an hour.
It was already 6:15am I was never going to make it to see Bob for a fitting at 6:30am which is literally 15 minutes away and knowing LA traffic there was just no hope I was going to be killed the second I got into work.
I looked in the mirror and said "right looks like I'm going into work like this"
I sprinted to the car and kept thinking
"You are not going to make the appointment with Bob, you still need a shower when you get there and your hair and makeup done by before 8am you are not going to get away with this"
The traffic was horrific the whole way to the studios and I just knew as I ran through the doors that I hadn't made it to see Bob...
Then while I clearly didn't have enough on my mind Moria the receptionist walked over with a big grin on her ugly face and said
"You do know Mark is in a relationship don't you?"
"Excuse me?!" I said back while trying to block out Pauly screaming
"Get upstairs Bob is waiting for you !"
I looked at Moria and told her
"We'll have this conversation later"
And just like that I was in the elevator with Pauly wouldn't shut up.
When we finally got to the fifth floor Bob was right outside the elevator waiting for me wuth the dress in one hand and a sticky note in the other
"I'm so sorry Bob i didn't think I'd be this late" I said while trying to catch my breath
"You look terrible but let's get you fitted and Mark told me to give this to you" his voice stayed with me even though I was like an hour late
"What does it say?"
"Just that he wants to see you but he says it's urgent" he replied while taking the dress out of the bag and tying my hair back for me...
I hardly spoke during the whole fitting and nodded to everything he said
I was putting my makeup on as he was altering the dress and doing the buttons at the back of the dress
"Stunning !"
He said and just as he was walking out Aidan walked in
