It was a dark, cold, and snowy night as a squad of four soldiers were out on patrol around the base they were posted at "alright guys just one more round then call it a night" said one of the soldiers to which he got a reply from is squad mates "roger that." They all replied over the radio, at the group was split up someone came over the radio "Draco, do you see anything on the SUAV?" there was a long pause before Draco replied "all clear just the way I like it, what about you Dmitry anything?" Gaining a chuckle from the group before Dmirty replied with a light chuckle "if i saw something y'all would know, anyway let's wrap this up I'm getting too damn wet and tired" as everyone agreed with him. The squad did one last round of the patrol before calling it a night and going back into the base to warm up and some sleep, after some of the group got showers in they headed to their room "Hey Dmitry when will you let me date you sister?" Nikolai asked him and with this question the only girl in the squad looked at the Dmitry as he has a smirk on his face "that's a good question, your welcome to try but you probably won't get far." He said looking at Nikolai.

After Dmitry had said this Nikolai went over to Sasha and leaned against her bunk but before he could say a word she did "keep dreaming" was all she said causing both Dmitry and Draco to which Nikolai sighed in defeat and going back to his bunk. "Alright people enough jokes for the night time to sleep" Dmitry said shutting off the lights and going to his bunk "Agreed" Sasha said laying down. After a few minutes the whole squad was sound asleep except for one, Dmitry he climbed out of bed and left the room and started to head to the armor to inspect his gear and weapons. Once he got to the armor he pulled his PKP off the gun rack and took it to a work bench and started to take it apart looking over every piece and cleaning it before putting it back together, after he had put his gun back together he put it back on the rack only to grab a small ammo box and stated to load it with the ammunition the he and his squad used and once that was fun he grabbed another and started to load it with mortar shells. Once finished, he got up and went back to his room and laying down calling it a night.

The next morning Sasha was the first awake like normal as she used this chance to get a long shower in using most of te hot water as she happily hummed a tune while doing so. Once she was finished and was dried and dressed she went to go start breakfast to which she was joined by Draco who sluggishly went to the little kitchen area, Sasha hand him a cup of coffee and he accepted it taking a sip from it before setting it down "thank you as always." He said still clearly waking up before going to sit at the take and resting his head waiting for the other two sleeps soldiers. Sasha chuckled watching Draco laying his head on the table before she started to make breakfast for herself and the rest of the squad, not long after she started cooking dmitry walked past the kitchen holding a still sleeping Nikolai before stopping as asking "Bathtub filled with cold water?" He asked looking at Sasha and she shook her head causing Dmitry to sigh before continuing to the bathroom. After a long bit of silence it was broken by a splash and someone screaming with Dmitry joining the now awake Draco at the table, Sasha gave him a cough of coffee as well and he thanked her only for a drenched Nikolai to walk by shivering "wake up sooner and you wont be wet and cold." Was all Dmitry said taking a sip from his coffee.

Soon everyone was at the table with Sasha setting food on the table before taking her seat, "Since you cooked you get first pick of the food." Draco said to her, after hearing this she grabbed some bacon along with the biggest and fluffiest pancakes before everyone else grabbed there share of the food, "how did everyone sleep?" Sasha asked the group "i slept fine" Draco said before eating the rest of the bacon on his plate, "Could have been worse." Dmitry said with the start of bags under his eyes, "I slept just fine, until someone here woke me up." Nikolai said glaring at Dmitry but didn't get a response from him. "Alright well what's the plan Dmitry?" Sasha asked before putting half of a pancake in her mouth, "Well i dont really know, unless something comes up then just more patrols." He said before a knock was heard at the door causing him to get up and answer. When Dmitry opened it he was asked to go to the CO's office and that's what he did. Once he reached the OC's office Dmitry stood at attention in from of the desk "you wanted to see me sir?" He asked the man in the chair "Yes i got a report of a SOS signal deep within the forest you and your squad was patrolling last night, care to explain how this when unnoticed?" He asked Dmitry "I'm sorry Sir but we didn't pick up anything over the coms of anything from the SUAV last night." He said to which the man simply nodded "Reasonable enough, well i want you and your team to gear up and find out who or what is sending this signal and bring it back here, do you understand?" The man asked Dmitry "Yes Sir" he simply replied.

Dmitry was dismissed from the OC's office as he made his way back to his squads room and walking in with the first thing he said was "gear up we got a mission." Once he said this every quickly got up and grabbed there gear along with Dmitry before all heading to the armory to grad there weapons. Once everyone was geared up that left the base with a light jog reaching the start of the forest, they all spread it putting a Five meter spread between one another before slowly moving forward. As the group walked Draco spoke over the Coms "I've got something, its fifty meters ahead." He said, "keep moving forward and eyes pealed." Dmitry said over the coms. As the group advanced they found a small clearing from the tree line as the whole group could all see a soldiers dead body but what they also saw in the snow covered clearing was a large gate of come sorts that was wide opened but pitch black inside. "What is that?" Nikolai asked, "a gate of sorts." Draco replied, "alright keep chatter to a minimum and approach with extreme caution." Dmitry said as everyone agreed ad slowly moved closer to the gate and the body that could see tha the soldier was stabbed but not with a knife something much wider and longer at the stab went all the way through. The whole group looked at the gate before slowly walking into it, when they came out to te other side they all couldn't believe what they were seeing, a whole new land scape it what was strange was it wasn't covered in snow and there where castles off in the distance. What the group failed to see as they all where looking around was the gate behind them was closing on it own, when Draco turned around he saw then and tried to stop it before it closed but failed. Once it had closed it disappeared trapping the soldiers in this unknown world.

Hoi i hope y'all liked this chapter an i hope you like this story in general, I'm trying to make a fanfic of GATE but without what had happened in the show like the Japanese soldiers and all the other main characters but with what somewhat happened in the show and more but with only the four "unlucky" soldier.
