I open my eyes to see my mother standing in front of me.
"Mum?" I gasp as I shoot up and instantly feel a sharp pain in my leg.
"Oh sweetie, don't get up!" My mother rushes to my side and forces me to lay back down.
I glance around the room, longing for the brown eyed boy. But alas it was just my mother.
"Where's Sam?" I bluntly ask.
"Who's sam?" My mother asks confused.
"The guy who brought me here."
"I don't know what you're talking about." My mother laughs.
I roll my eyes at her and reach for my phone.
No new messages.
I open my texts and rush to type a message to Sam.
A:*Sam. Where are you?*
Nothing.
I sigh and place my phone back on the table beside me.
"Sweetie. The doctor wants to talk to you" My mother's annoying voice rings.
"Okay."
Great. Maybe he knows where Sam is.
"Hi April, I'm doctor Brown."
"What happened to my leg?" I blurt.
"You're all fixed up. Luckily you only broke your ankle. It's going to be a while before you can fully walk on two legs again." He chuckles.
"Doctor. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"What happened to the guy that brought me here?"
"Oh yes. That young man is in the lobby. Why do you ask?"
"Can I see him please?"
"I'm afraid not. Only close relatives are allowed in emergency."
I puff a frustrated sigh.
"April! Don't be so rude!" My mother barks at me.
I roll my eyes and say nothing.
"I'm sorry doctor. Thank you for all you've done" My mother escorts the doctor outside.
God she's a suck up sometimes.
At that very moment I hear a tap on my window.
That's weird.
Must have been a bird.
Tap!
Tap!
I slowly make my way to the window and look down.
Omg......
A wide grin across his sexy face. The wind blowing his hair and he raises his hand to wave at me.
I place my hand against the glass and giggle at him.
My phone buzzes.
I rush over to it and it's him.
"Hey suicidal maccas date!" He chuckles.
"Hey."
"How's the leg?"
"It's still attached at least"
"That's good to hear. Listen, I'm sorry about rushing off like that. If I had of just taken it easy you wouldn't be up there right now" he scratched his head and sighs.
"No I should've been watching where I was going. It's not your fault. Please don't apologise"
"Well, I asked the nurse if I could visit you but they wouldn't let me through"
"Yeah, close family only apparently. Did you go home?"
"No I slept in the lobby." He blankly states. Letting out a big yawn.
"What! Why!"
"I was worried about you"
"You really didn't have to Sam. I mean we barely know each other"
"It just felt right. And I wouldn't have been able to sleep at home anyways."
"You're a goose" I giggle.
Just then my mother bangs through the door.
"APRIL! Get back on your bed! You aren't allowed to be up and walking on that ankle!" She barks.
"Sorry Sam, I gotta go."
"That's okay. Uhm. Text me" he worryingly says.
"Bye." I quickly hang up and make my way back to my bed.
BING!
S:*she sounded scary*
A huge grin spreads across my lips.
"What are you smiling at?" My mother asks.
"I met a guy. He drives a skyline."
"Okay?" She shakes her head.
"He's really sweet." I convince her.
I rapidly tap my fingers in reply to Sam.
A:*Yeah only to me. She'd love you*
S:*Is that so?*
A:*Go home!*
S:*But there's no you at home*
A: * you're hilarious*
S:*Only for you ;)*
A:* I'm serious. Go home and get some rest. I'll be fine.*
S:*Okay fine. But promise to give me updates yeah?*
A:*Okay. Go!*
I hear his skyline zoom off in the distance.
Damn.
That's hot.
