Samantha's POV
Maaga 'kong nagising para pumasok sa school pero hindi pa 'ko bumabangon. I don't know pero ang ganda ng gising ko ngayon. Ewan ko ba parang it's a beautiful morning to start my day.
"Sweetie, gumising ka na." I heard my mother say outside the door. "Yes, Mimi nand'yan na," I shouted while I'm getting up. I walked at my window and smiled. I noticed that the weather is nice today. "It really is a wonderful day."
After I finished my routine, I walked downstairs. "Ang bagal mo namang kumilos, Sam." I look at my right and I saw my sister— little sister holding a cup. Coffee ata yung hawak niya... pero kailan pa siya pinayagan ni Mimi na mag-coffee?
"Wait, what did you just call me?" I said crossing my arms around my chest, acting like a big sister. She just rolled her eyes like she always do. Hay naku, galit pa rin ata siya sa'kin.
"Oh, Sweetie, sit down na baka mahuli ka sa klase mo," Mimi said. "Where's Dada?" I asked. "Uhm... he's upstairs may inaasikasong file ng isang patient at 'wag na daw natin siyang hintayin kasi matatagalan pa siya doon," she said while preparing for our breakfast. Umupo na si Mimi at nagsimula na kaming kumain.
"Mimi, can you pass the bacon?" Serena said kahit na mas malapit sa'kin yung bacon and eggs. I looked at her. "What?" she raised her eyebrow and look away as if she did nothing wrong, acting innocently.
After naming mag-breakfast, sabay kaming sumakay sa kotse. Serena looked at me and stomp her feet again. Minutes had passed pero 'di pa rin niya ko pinapansin.
"Hey, I didn't mean to eat your Blueberry pudding last night. It's just that nag-crave ako tapos I ate it. I'm sorry, okay." I used my super sincere face para patawarin niya 'ko kaagad. She is still looking outside the window. Didn't even bother to look at me. I sighed.
"Okay, I will buy you Blueberry Cheesecake tomorrow," and then she finally look at me now. "Promise?" she asked as she narrowed her eyes at me. "Yup, I promise," I said.
"Alright, but double it and please the next time you eat my food, ask permission first." she said with authority.
"Okay po." I said patting my hand in her head. The car stops hindi ko napansin na nandito na pala kami sa school. "See you later, Serene." I said waving my hand at her smiling and then guess what— she just look at me then rolled her eyes.
Hindi na ko magtataka na sa susunod na iirap siya ay mahuhulog na eyeballs niya, kidding aside. As I walked in, I noticed Jane standing in the gate. I run then hug her in the back but then she elbowed my stomach and pushed me away. I screamed and fell on the floor, immediately.
"Anong bang problema mo?" tanong ko sa kaniya habang namimilipit na sa sakit. Para 'kong nasusuka sa sakit.
"Omg! I'm so sorry, Sam. Ba't ba kasi nanggugulat ka bigla-bigla," she apologized but it's too late. Ang sakit na talaga. Solid yung pagkakasiko sa'kin eh.
Habang namamalipit sa sakit ay naramdaman kong may bumubuhat sa'kin and the last thing I knew nasa clinic na 'ko with Jc, my childhood crush. Si Jc yung kuya ni Jane na long-time crush ko since elementary. Natigilan ako ng may nagsalita.
"Miss Samantha Torres... what brings you here?" the nurse suddenly appeared. 'Wait, paano niya nalaman yung pangalan ko?' Napakunot ang noo ko at napansin 'yon ng nurse. Parang na-gets na niya kung bakit ako nagtataka.
"'Yung name tag niyo po, miss," she said smiling while looking at my name tag hanging on my uniform. "Uhm... okay hehe," I replied. Okay, no need to be terrified. 'Wag kang oa, self.
