Cousins of a Wizard

Chapter 2

We walked in and as soon as I looked around I saw a bunch of small humanoid things stamping papers.

"Umm..Hagrid don't want to be rude but what are those??"

"Their Goblins Jax, very smart but not the most friendly."

We walked down the hall to a large desk where a Goblin day writing in a book.

"Ahem, the Evens Twins would like to make a withdrawal."

The Goblin looked up and sighed.

"Vault number and key?" He said with a dissatisfied look.

"Right here" Hagrid said digging into his pocket.

"Alright, Wait over there a goblin will take you to your vault soon." He said pointing to a large set of doors.

"Hello I'll be taking you to your vault."

I turned to see where the voice came from to find a younger looking goblin with a higher voice standing behind us.

"Yes thank you." Hagrid said handing him the vault number.

"Follow me please"

We were lead through the doors and behind them was a massive cave network. We all got into a toy car looking thing that shot down a pair of tracks. It only took about 1 minute to reach our vault.

Number 666, we piled out onto a walkway and Hagrid handed the goblin the key.

The short man then opened a key hole and unlocked the massive door. The sound of pin tumblers falling filled the area and the door slowly opened.

Kat and I looked in and our jaws hit the floor then the ceiling and back to the floor. There was tall stacks of gold coins, silver coins, and bronze coins.

"Here you are girls two bags each should be enough."

Hagrid handed us each two cloth bags about the length of my forearm.

I was smart and just put the bags over a stack and closed the bag so it was all neatly stacked inside. Kat being her just tossed the coins in it.

It didn't take long and I just put my bags in the inside pockets of a jacket I had been wearing. I'm anemic so I'm constantly cold and always had some kind of jacket on.

We left saying our thanks to the nice goblin and started going to the shops reading off the list of required supplies for school.

"Right before I got any further I would like to introduce you to Professor McGonagall.

She's one of the teachers at Hogwarts, I have to go pick up your cousin so she will help you shop. Have a nice day."

I was a little confused but got over it quick, the professor looked nice. She had a long green velvet robe and pointed hat. She looked nice too.

"Hello dears, it's nice to meet you. May I say your both beautiful young ladies." Her smile was soft and genuine.

"It's a pleasure to meet someone, if I may say I love your robes." I said smiling back.

"It's nice to meet you." Kat said we both smiled.
