Weak and shivering with coldness, XuanZheng returned to the necropolis. Her wings dragged behind her as she weakly tries to grab on the walls. She descended below to the lowest part of her tower. There, the ancient evil tree stood with prisoners frozen on each side.

XuanZheng did not care about the prisoners except one... Na ShaoTian.
She wiped the mist around the crystal with her hand. It revealed a man inside it and she cried...

"ShaoTian... Why couldn't you just love me? Why did you chose my sister instead of me?"

She reached out inside the frozen crystal and her hand passed through. She loved ShaoTian more than her life but when ShaoTian refused her love and chose her sister instead, she had gone berserk which burst out a war amongst the kingdoms in the human realm that killed many people. But, the real reason why she loved ShaoTian wasn't unconditional... ShaoTian was a cultivator and he possessed a Shangguan Longyan box which is filled with divine power. Before ShaoTian was captured, he was able to reduce the box into remnants and inserted it inside his own body.

XuanZheng reached out her hands inside the crystal and tried to extract the box out from ShaoTian's body but it was no use. Only the Na siblings can undo the seal and use the Shangguan Longyan box.

'Those filthy siblings!'

Her horrible shrill filled the whole necropolis. The ancient evil tree had awakened and she attached herself back to it's roots to restore her power that was depleted during the battle with her sister.

'Someday, I'll get my revenge against those sibling and finally destroy Old Jianghu!'

Burned houses and establishments greeted the common folk in Suzhou as the dawn broke. Wei Yue and the others focused on helping the townspeople who had lost their homes during the fire. Luckily, no one died when the fire razed and the people were very thankful of the heroes who helped them evacuate during the calamity.

Li An's heart could not contain her happiness as Wei Yue declared that they'll go back to their own kingdom and arrange the preparations for the alliance of kingdoms.

"We'll return the Kingdom of Jade Phoenix and then we'll go to Dragon Blade and discuss it's alliance."

Wei Yue laid out his plan precisely. Zhang Xiaoxing nodded in agreement. As the Dragon Blade Kingdom's envoy, it's his duty to bring the kingdom's name. Back then, he was pampered inside the kingdom chasing after pretty women day by day but after his kingdom fell, he couldn't just watch by as his father gets corrupted by Ning's schemes... Now, his kingdom is now well and thanked Wei Yue and his friends for it.

'I will write a letter for my father. I must let him know that we're coming.'

Zhang Xiaoxing thought to himself. He was happy remembering his own father.

Li An sat on the chair beside Zhang Xiaoxing but her heart was feeling uneasy. Zhao Min haven't returned yet. She clasped her hands and thought deeply. Zhao Min was Luo Na's close friends but if she poses a threat to the kingdoms and her friends, then...

'I will really eliminate her.'

Li An's concentration about her doubt broke as her attention got caught by Zhang Xiaoxing's tap by her arm.

"What are you thinking?"

"I'm fine. It's nothing."

"Oh come on Li An, I know you... You don't say a word when you're thinking deeply."
