*dereks pov*

I was at this get together and I had just took a seat and then she came in.. karlie.
she brought a smile to my face.
I pulled a chair up for her to sit in.
she walked over and whispered Hi with a smile.
"do you even know what this is" she chuckled.
she shook her head.
"neither do I"

*karlies pov*

I saw cate looking at me while I was having a conversation with Derek

I feel like her and Derek have something planned.

some guy came out. I think he lives here but he announced " we're just waiting for more people, my names drake by the way!"
"so this isn't a get together.. it's a party" I stated and glared at cate.

" you finally caught on" cate said very salty
"if this is going to be a party I think you need to change your attitude" I said to her.
I hear Derek laughing next to me

"what are you laughing about Winehouse!" I said hitting his leg not to hard and giggling.
he shook his head and laughed.

he has such a contagious smile.
he wasn't paying attention at all and I was just staring at him.
he finally turned around and caught me staring..
"karlie" he said snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"sorry sorry I got lost in my thoughts haha"

"clearly" cate said
"clearly you have an attitude problem that you need to fix" I smiled.
