Kirishima's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning, a warm presence on my side. Peeling myself out of the warm comforters, I changed my clothes from sweatpants to jeans and a red T-shirt with a random band logo on the front. "Bakugou, it's time to get up!" I said, walking over to shake his sleeping figure. "Ugh~ Five more minutes." He groaned, turning over. "Nope, get up. It's time for trust." I smiled. "What the fuck does that mean?" He asked, his voice muffled by the pillow his face was buried in. "We are practicing trust today and you need to get up so we can practice. Get up." I said, stern at the end. Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes and ran his hand through his hair. It looked just like it did the rest of the time. I wonder if he even brushed it. Lifting himself from the bed, he grabs his pants from the ground. "Do you want an extra shirt?" I asked, looking at his wrinkled white shirt.

"If you don't mind." He said, looking down at his shirt. "Here." I said, tossing a baby blue shirt towards him. Taking off his shirt, he tossed it on his bed, his chest totally visible. And Jesus Christ was he hot. How did someone who drank and stayed around his house all the time look so god damn beautiful. Shaking my head, I grab my phone and keys. "We are going to the park today." I said, going to the elevator an pressing the button for the first floor. Walking to the car, the soft wind blows my hair around my face. Maybe not the best day for the park but I wasn't backing out now. The car ride was silent, sleep still taking over most of our minds and bodies. He kept dozing off in the car, soft radio echoing through the car. It was nice and relaxing, making the whole ride enjoyable and zen.

Shaking him awake, I pull into a gravel parking area, nobody else around. It was still pretty early and chilly out so I didn't expect anyone to be here. I was kinda glad it was just us. It would make what we were doing less noticeable. Opening his eyes, he sits up and gets out of the car with a stretch. "Good morning sleeping beauty." I smiled, wrapping my light jacket around me keeping the wind away. "Good morning. What are we doing here?" He asked, shaking himself awake for the second time today. "We are working on trust." I smiled. "At a park? What are you gonna do, tell me I won't break my arm going down a slide? I already know that and I don't need reassurance or your trust." He said, sitting back in the car. He's grumpy in the morning. "No, now get out fo the car. You promised you would do this. Don't break it." I said, grabbing his arm and standing. "Now, run around for a bit just to get your energy going. You aren't used to waking up this early are you?" I asked. Shaking his head, he started off slow at first and got faster as he went on. He did a few laps before jogging back to me. "Was that it? I don't see how that was trust?" He asked, confused and slightly out of breath.

"No that's not it. Now follow me." I walked to one a ladder connected to a slide. It's was a straight down slope with about twenty prongs about fifteen feet once you reached the top. Perfect. "Climb up the first three steps." I said. He did as he was told, still confused. "Now fall back. I'll catch you." He was hesitant at first before letting go landing in my open arms a moment later. "See, I'll be there to catch you. All the time. Now do it again but this time do five." He climbed up like last time adding two more steps. He was more hesitant this time because of the height difference but still did it regardless. And I was there to catch him. "You're doing good. Go up eight prongs." I said. He started shaking slightly. Climbing up, he fell back with his eyes squinted shaking when I caught him. "Is that it?" He asked, peeling his eyes open. "Do you trust me?" I asked, looking down at his face. "Not really. Every time I fall I feel like nothing will catch me. Then you do." He said, voice and legs shaky.

"Are you afraid?" I wondered out loud. "After what happened with my parents I have been. Heights scare me. They both fell. I can't imagine what that's like." He said, climbing up ten prongs. "But you always catch me." And with that he fell and I caught him before he could hit the ground like I had been this whole time. "Always." He climbed up again, slowly getting to the top and falling, catching him with a smile and doing it again. This time, he got to the top of the prongs, fifteen feet in the air and fell. Catching him, his force from the height knocked me on the ground with him still on top of me unhurt. "You okay?" He asked, standing and holding out his hand. "Yeah, I think I broke a rib though." I joked, grabbing his hand. "I'm getting a little hungry. How does breakfast sound?" He asked, walking with me to the car. "Sounds amazing. There's this little place near the dorms that I eat at sometimes. Best breakfast pizza ever!" I said. I haven't been there in a while but it sounded good right now. "Are you sure it's good?" He asked, getting into the passenger side door. "Don't you trust me?" I asked, starting the car.

   "Yes I do."
