Willow just found out that Neville has a crush on Luna. Neville had been distancing himself from Willow. She was heartbroken. She was sitting alone, against a wall, crying. Had he just forgotten what they had?
"Willow?"
Willow looked up, it was Cho Chang
"Willow, what's happening? Why are you crying?"
Cho and Willow were never close, but she needed someone to talk to. Willow explained the entire Neville situation to her.
"Have you tried talking to him? To find out what's going on?"
Willow shook her head
"I dont want to be rude. He can fancy whoever he wants. I dont care."
Cho nodded
"Are you sure you're okay"
"I'll get over it. People fall out of love suddenly."
Cho looked at her in a questioning way
"Not like my parents. They never really fancied eachother."
Cho looked away
"I know how you feel."
"What?"
"When Harry started fancying Ginny again. I felt the same way"
"Its a horrible feeling. I just want Neville back again. I love Luna so much and I don't want to blame her. I don't blame Neville either. It happens, that's life I guess..."
Cho looked sadly at Willow. They barely spoke but Cho could tell that she was badly hurt.
"I'm here if you want to talk more about it. Breakups are hard... trust me, I know."
"The thing is, he was never actually mine."
