I found a spot
Just right for where I am
It lives in a forest near home
It knows what I canDo I stay here forever?
That's a question for the trees
Whether they hate or love
Or want to see meFall leaves land on my hair
Little mosquitos try to bite my face
My broken gold locks
Stick in a sweaty embraceI've never had to run this fast!
Its like some monster is chasing me
Through the pines
Reaching out at me the leavesUs, alone in the wood.
Mother and I
She loves me like no other
My blood does none but lieDown in the litter
I rummage through rot
A few spiders climb out
To home I will notA good place this is.
Quite the nice spot!
A buck jumps on by
I wish I were him a lotOf hardship is my feet
They feel prickly things
Bugs eating at me
But still the wood singsDeath and life around me
A dying bush crumbling down
The circle of life
Goes all the way around.
