Chapter 21: Goodbye

Marco POV
It has been a few days now and today is Star last day on Earth. Tomorrow she will be going back to Mewni. So I must make this night special for her.

In the morning I woke up early and make breakfast for Star. After I finish cooking I brought the food to her room and right on time she just woke up. I said “Morning my love”  “Morning to you too Marco” Star said while yawning and rubbing her eyes. I put the food on her bed and she said “Oh this looks delicious, thanks Marco” and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Then I said “Star after lunch I want you to get ready cause we will going out later, okay?” “Alright Marco”. After that, I left the room and get ready some more food for my parents.

It was already 12:56pm I was waiting with my dad at the dining room while my mom is preparing lunch. Then suddenly Star came down and she was wearing a red colour dress and leggings with her necklace I gave also a red high heels. I was speechless at how gorgeous she is. Then my dad snap me out and said “Marco? You okay?” “Yeah I'm fine just zone out”

Star POV
I sat next to Marco and we eat lunch together. After lunch Marco said “Come on Star, let's go.” “Alright” then I grab his hand. We say goodbye to Mr and Mrs Diaz and Marco help open the door and the car door too.

He drove to the cinema and we watch a couple of movies. After that he brought me to the park we just walked there and have a good time.

When it was night time we went to a Chinese restaurant to have dinner. It was very romantic, like it was meant for us. So I asked “Marco did you ask them to do this?” “Yup” “I KNEW IT!” them he just laugh.

We ordered our food and while waiting we just talked to each other. After 30 minutes our food arrived. We ate it and it was delicious.

Marco POV
When we finish our food we drove back home it was already 9pm and we are very tired.

We reach home but Star was already asleep. So I carried her to her room. When I lay her she hold my hand and said “Stay” then I sleep next to her.

The next day I woke up and Star was hugging me. I just rub her head and admire her beauty and cuteness. I'm going to miss a lot, I thought to myself. After that she woke up and get ready while I just continue laying at her bed it was really comfy. When she was done It was my turn to get ready. After that we went downstairs to have breakfast with my parents.

After that suddenly a portal open and it was Star mother, Mrs Butterfly. We greeted her and I help Star bring her stuff down. Then I said “ I'm going to miss you Star.” “Me too Marco” then we hug each other while crying. Then I said “Hey Star it's going to be okay but don't worry we still can meet each other” “Yeah you right” right before she went to the portal I pull her and kiss her passionately and she did back.

We let go of the kiss and gasp for air. Then we waved each other and saw Queen Butterfly wipe some tears. Then the portal close and it was just silence, I quickly hug my parents and said “I miss her already” while sobbing. Then my mom said “Its okay Marco, you will meet again” “You should start thinking about your self. Like what college you going” my dad said. “Yeah , you guys are right. I love you guys.”
