Ara just sighed as she remembers all those things. Ace, after he got out of the hospital was taken by his father to his place in the City.
Ara couldn't do anything before to stop him from leaving even though she tried so hard to let him remember, she was just a kid and all that could ever do was cry while watching her bestfriend leave.
She never fails to keep on updating on Ace. Though Ace forgot their promise, Ara didn't. She protected Ace secretly to the best she can from those people who tried to harm him.
The internet became her only companion and through it she was able to protect Ace from cyber criminals and bullies and for a short time she was able to bring back a closure in them through her dummy account as one of Ace's fans.
They communicated but it didn't last long. Ara had always been secretly looking out for him. She still has her pair of promise ring, she had the ring of Ace's mother while Ace had his father's.
Ara knew Ace still had it because she saw the ring on Ace's necklace in every pictures he posted. She was happy with the thought of it.
