"Ada" Thomas called, startling the girl, as far as she knew Tommy was still unbeknownst to her aware abouts.

"How the fuck did you find me?" She questioned, not stopping to hear his answer, "What are you reading Pollys letters?"

Ada sighed as Thomas moved in her path, blocking her from walking away, "Polly showed me the letter, look you think you're safe because you moved flat, but you're not and Polly thinks the same" He revealed, referencing the recent attack on Ada.

"When will you understand, I just want you out of my life" She argued, tiered of the constant threat the name Shelby put herself and Karl under.

"Ada look at us eh?" He said, talking about the bruises that decorated both their faces, "And it'll happen again"

"Yeah well, next time I'll be ready" She said as she began rooting through her bag before pulling out a gun, "In fact I want them to try again because I'll shoot their fucking balls off"

"Ada put the gun away" He reasoned, fighting back a proud smirk.

"Get away from me" She ordered, "I'm late for work"

"Alright fine" He said, reaching into his pocket. "Take this, Take it" Thomas passed her the envelope, "Were you're living now is right on the edge of Sabinis territory and all the coppers around there work for him" She opened the slip of paper revealing a set of keys, "I've got a lot of money coming in that I cant put through the banks. My accountant says the best thing to do is buy property for cash and put it in the name of a family member"

"A house" She gushed, "A whole house?"

Thomas nodded, "Its all yours, four stories and eight bedrooms, even room for a maid if your political conscious will allow, there's just one condition"

Ada scoffed unsurprised, "Out with it then, what is it?"

"There's a peaky blinder by the name of Harry Carter, he's a good man, one that I trust" Thomas began to explain, "He'll be living with you, acting as a body guard"

Ada rolled her eyes, "Forget about it Tom"

"With the expansion its dangerous to be a Shelby in London right now; Having Harry keep an eye on you will put my mind at rest, just think about it Ey?" Ada nodded, before pushing past her brother and making her way to work.

Ada entered her new home as little Karl ran circles around her feet, "Go have a look what you think" She smiled, sending Karl speeding of. "Can you hear that? Silence at last and it belongs to us"

"Mummy" Karl called out, Ada rushed attentively over to her son.

"So what do you think?" She cooed, still in awe of the place.

Perhaps she could get used to the idea of living with Harry Carter after all.
