Chapter 10

Blythe's P.O.V.
Jack and I hooked up last night and he made me feel something I never thought I'd feel. I was hungry for his body and he satisfied my craving for him. I left his house really early in the morning. Kol was passed out on my bed when I got home so I joined him and passed out also.
"Blythe.. wake up! Let's do something!" I hear Kol whine causing me to laugh
"What do you want to do?" I ask
"I don't know something fun!"
"Beach?" I question
"Fuck yes!" He shouts
We both start to get ready overly excited to lay out in the sun. I put on my blue and white bikini and pack my beach bag. I decide to text Jack.
'Kol and I are going to the beach. You should come with.'
'Blythe I don't think that's a good idea.'
'We've talked about this. My decision.'
'I'll meet you guys there.'
I get very excited as Jack finally agrees to go with us. I let my dad know where we are going and we start packing up the car to leave. I put the beach address in my GPS and we start following the route. We danced along to to Kols playlist. We laughed together and it felt like old times again. I was truly going to miss him and be heart broken when he had to leave.
"There's a parking spot right there!" Kol says pointing
I pull into the spot and we start gathering our things. There wasn't to many people here but you could tell more were coming. We had to make sure to get a goo place now on the sand. We walked on the beach to the right and found a perfect spot where not a lot of people were at. We set up our beach blanket and helped each out on tanning oil.
"I'm ready to be as tan as a.. I don't even know I just want to be tan." Kol says causing me to laugh pretty hard.
We laid down and played some music off our phones and just soaked up the sun.
"Hey Blythe." I hear as someone kneels down by me.
I prop myself up on my elbows as I stare at Sammy.
"What a surprise you're here too." I say with a little bit of attitude.
"And you are?" Sammy ask Kol with attitude
"Mostly gay." I say with attitude back causing Kol to laugh and Sammy face to turn a little red
"Come play volleyball with us?" I look over to see Johnson and some others I didn't know playing a game.
"I don't know." I say
"Cmon live a little." Sammy smirks
"Go play Blythe. I'm gonna continue soaking up the sun.
"Fine." I say and roll my eyes
Surprisingly I actually had a great time playing volleyball with them. Sammy actually had me laughing a lot which was unusual. We had been at the beach for hours now and still no Jack. I decided to take a dip in the water to cool off. I was only knee deep when I felt water being splashed up on from someone running. Before I knew it was in someone's arms and being tossed into the water. I came up to see a laughing Sammy.
"You're gonna regret that."
"Oh am I?" He laughs
"Yes." I say pulling him as hard as I can and dunking him under water.
My stomach was starting to hurt from how hard I was laughing. I was actually surprised how decent of a human being Sammy could be.
"Look we're all going out to get something to eat after this. You and your friend should come with." Sammy says smirking
"Hmmm I don't know." I say
"Cmon it's going to be a group of us."
"Fine." I laugh
We both walk out of the water and back to where we were laying to dry off and get dressed.
"They wanted us to come get food with them. Are you down to go?" I ask Kol
"Hell yes I'm starving." He laughs
We cleaned up all our stuff on the beach and headed back to the group.
"You and your friend can ride with me." Sammy says
"What about my car?" I say
"I'll bring you back later."
"Okay."
I checked my phone for any messages from Jack but sadly there were none. He totally ditched me and now it seemed like he was ghosting me. I'm not sure if I should text him again but I do it anyway.
'Leaving the beach now. You never showed.'
I wait for a reply and nothing. I shrug my shoulder and get into the front seat of Sammys car. We end up at some cute little diner like pops off Riverdale. I ordered a burger and extra fries. I was starving and was not afraid to eat. Well talked amongst ourselves and Sammy and Kol started to really hit it off surprisingly. Johnson was telling me a story from when he was little and I was laughing so hard tears were about to come out but that when I heard it. The ding of the bell as the diners door opened and in walked Jack with his arm wrapped around a girl. My stomach dropped and so did my laugh.
"Aye what's up Jack?" Sammy shouts
Jack turns to our table and his eyes immediately meet mine. Kol looks at me and immediately knows what's going on.
"Can you take us home or back to her car?" Kol ask Sammy
"Yeah of course." Sammy smiles
A wave of jealousy runs over Jacks face. I showed no emotion in mine. I grabbed my stuff and went to pay mine and Kols bill but before I could Sammy was handing the waitress 200.
"That's for everyone. Keep the change." Sammy smiles at her.
"You ready?" He ask smiling and I nod
I don't even bother looking over at Jack and I swear I heard him call my name as I was walking out the door but I didn't even bother to look back.
