Sirius had laid out the perfect date. There were little flowers everywhere a picnic rug was spread out over some soft green grass. Little fairy lights were strung up with the flowers. It looked magical.
"Babe?"
Remus! Sirius was a nervous wreck.
"In here!"
Remus poked his head into the little cove.
"Omg Sirius it's beautiful!!"
Sirius grinned as he pulled out a picnic basket. He opened the lid and pulled out some of Remus' favourite food.
Once both men were full, Sirius knew that he had to do it. He told Remus to stand up and he got down on one knee. Remus gasped.
"Remus John Lupin. You are my light in the dark. I wake up every morning beside you and I think of how lucky I am to have you. You are so perfect and I fall more in love with you everyday. Ever since that night. When I got wasted and you helped James with me, just feeling your arms on me, even in my drunken state, I knew I loved you. When we started texting and you looked past the fact that I'm a Black I knew you were special. Remus, you were always there for me, as I am always here for you. But I want to be there for you as your husband. So, Remus John Lupin, will you marry me?"
Remus stared at Sirius and with every passing moment Sirius felt his confidence slipping. Then...
"Yes yes YES!!"
Remus jumped on him and began to kiss him furiously. Sirius smiled against Remus' lips and he knew from then on, everything would be perfect...
Really short chapter I know but suck it up. Basically I just wanted you guys to see the proposal in this chapter. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it. Bye guys <3
