I walked into my homeroom. It was Monday. I always hated Monday. I felt eyes on me. I kept my head down and went straight to my locker. I heard whispers and giggles. I knew I was the loner of the class. They always had something to say about me. As I close my locker door and head to the homeroom across from me, I bump into Anthony. Anthony Reeves. He was gorgeous, but he was rude. "Shit I'm sorry" I say stepping back and looking into his eyes. His eyes were so gorgeous. "No, it's okay." Anthony says. I walk away from him and walk out the door. The other homeroom greeted me. They hugged me and told me about stories that happened yesterday. "Sophieee, hi I missed you!" Isabelle says as she greets me with a warm hug. "Hiya b" I say laughing. Chase comes over and greets me with a hug. He was my best friend. He was always nice to me. He was very popular and got on well with everyone. He got on really well with the boys in my class though, Anthony, Payton and Jaden. A few times I heard them ask Chase why he's friends with me. He always ignores the question which is very kind of him. "Dudes" I say to the crowd which have ganged around me. "Spill the tea bro!" Emma shouts. "Okay, so my mom is sending me to therapy for the millionth time" I say sighing. They all laugh. "Do they not get the picture o my" Gemma says laughing. "No, I don't think they do!"

The bell rings and we all go to class. I had English, Maths and Geography. I only liked Geography. I don't think any of the teachers liked me sadly. I felt like the pitied me. I hate being pitied. I walked to English alone. Sat in my seat at the back of the class and got my homework out. Ms Hummings was my English teacher. She was okay I guess. I didn't pay enough attention to really have an opinion on her. "Sophie, read out your draft to the class" she said. "I'd rather not miss," i say, my voice shaking. "Why, Pullman, did you not do it." She says looking me straight in the eyes. Everyone was staring at me now. "I did, I just really don't want to read it out." I said holding up my paper. We had to wright a first draft of a song we liked, and give reasons to why we liked it. I did "Give Me Love" my Ed Sheehan. "Sophie, read the draft out, or you'll be sent down to the principles office, Now!" She said. My hand was shaking as I picked up my refil pad paper. My voice was quiet and shaky. I didn't look up once as I read it and read it quite fast. As I finished reading she was smiling. She clapped. "Well done, that was fantastic!" She said. I gave a weak smile before opening up my folder to put the sheet back in. "Anthony, read yours now" she said smiling. He read his out. He did "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. I think he did it as a joke but whatever. When he finished everybody clapped and laughed. No one clapped for mine. "Anthony, just make sure you stick to the topic, and on your next draft don't go ranting about cats, thank you!" She said. For the rest of the class I zoned out. Just focusing on a fly on the wall. "Sophie! Read out page 11" she said. I read it out without looking up, I zoomed through it. I just wanted to go looking back at the fly on the wall. "Sophie slow down!" She said. I slowed down the pace a little bit. She got up while I was reading and killed the fly. The poor fly. He didn't deserve that did he? I finished the page I was reading and looked around for what I could zone out on next. I decided to look at Anthony's shoes. They were plain white with a white tick on the side. The bell rang and we headed off for maths. "Sophie, can I talk to you for a second. "Yep!" I say as I walk over to her desk. I was freaking out on the inside. Like majorly. My hands were shaking and my heart was beating really fast. "You're doing very well in English Sophie, just try and be more confident! I nod. "Why didn't you want to read out your piece?" She asked me. "I don't know I'm scared that I'll mess up!" I said. It was true, but only half true I guess. I didn't want the class to laugh at me, or judge me I guess. Sounds stupid but whatever. "Well you didn't mess up, see! Step outside your comfort zone. With the skills you have, you'll get a great job, you'll do well for yourself young lady!" She said. "Thank you miss. I said.

I walked out of her door and I went to maths. We had Mr Howie. He was nice but he wasn't nice when you didn't do the homework. "Why are you late, Sophie?" He asked as I opened the door. "Ms Hummings was talking to me, sorry" I apologized as I went to my seat. "Oh, that's okay!" He said as he wrote Fractions on the board. I was quite good at fractions, I guess. They were so simple. "Sophie what did you get for question 10?" "80%" I said. "And how did you get that?" He asked" "I simplified 16/20 and timed it by 100 over 1.  I said reading off my rough work. "And why did you need to multiply it over 100/1. He asked. "That's how we get the percentage sir," I said. "Excellent!" He exclaimed. For the rest of the class we took down notes.

The bell rang and we went to geography. It was a free because Ms. Connor was at a meeting. I was bored so I took out a piece of plain white paper and drew random symbols. A super Man S, and then did my maths homework. A crushed piece of paper was thrown and my head. I ignored it but it had writing on it. So I opened it "meet me at room 230 when the bell rings! Anthony!!!"

I looked up to see where Anthony was sitting. He was sitting one desk in front of me, and two to the right. He pointed to the note in my head and shrugged. I nodded my head yes and smiled. He cheesed me. I looked back at my maths homework. The bell rang and I backed my stuff up and went to room 230.
