It was a lovely day...amazing weather, blooming trees....JUST BEAUTIFUL! I was working at a smol cafe in Korea.....just a 18 year old girl working at Cherry Tree Cafe(idk if that's an actual thing but 👌and yes this is the future)
I heard our little bell ring at the door to see a pretty boy with a skate board
He looked at me and we both blushed
After him 2 other boys entered
They looked at me too and smiled
The 3 boys settled in at a table close to the front
The boy with the skateboard whispered to the boy with round glasses
Just after, the boy with round glasses went up to the counter
"hey! I'm Ren Shuyang...do you guys have boba here?"
The boy asked
"ahh yes we do!"
I responded trying to be polite as possible
"do you guys have Thai tea, Taro tea and Earl Gray milk tea?"
He asked while smiling
"Yeah that's our most popular!"
I responded and looked him in his eyes
"ah! Can I order those 3 drinks?"
"hah sure thing sir!"
"how old are you anyways?"
He asked concerned
"ahh I turned 18 on December 11th!"
I said
"ah I turned 18 on December 15!"

"wow 4 days apart!"

"I have a question.."
He asked and I hummed back in response as a yes
"Do you mind if I get your number ? b-but If you are uncomfortable—"
I ran to the back leaving the boy confused
Shuyang's face: T-T
I came back with my sketchbook and pencil
I ripped out a piece of paper and wrote down my number
I gave him the paper and he said
"Yay!"
And jumped around
Mingrui's pov
Shuyang seems happy and jumping around..I wonder what happened.. DID HE GET HER NUMBER FOR ME? Mhm I'm craving some cake cuz ya know...ya boi is a foodie here🤪🤭
I went to the counter and looked at the hard working girl cleaning the dishes while the guy makes the drinks for us
"H-Hey excuse me?"
I say in a gentle voice
She turned around and smiled sweetly
OH GOD HER SMILE SKJAKAKDKJSNA
IT MELTS MY FUCKING HEART GOD DAMN IT
"I-I- can I order a slice of Blossom Cake?"
(The blossom cake is a cake that is pink and has a little branch with a few cherry blossoms on it but its made out of fondant so it's edible)
