Are You Okay?

Jisung's POV

I rushed towards my previous class.
I knew I was forgetting something, why do I always forget it?? Ughhh
There it is! I picked up the brown book which was on my desk. Great, just where I left it.

I opened it, entry 8 was the latest one I wrote here in class. Wait, why is there entry 9 already?! Oh... It's from M again. Who is this M?

Ahhh I'm late for my next class! It's english class but the teacher is kinda nice so hopefully he won't be too angry..

"Oh Jisung-ah?" I heard from outside of the classroom. It's Lee Minho, the guy who has been bugging me everyday. I forced a smile and waved out of respect, he is older than me anyway.

"Hello Minho hyung" I greeted

"Why are you in here? You're gonna be late" He asked worriedly

"Oh, I just uh forgot something, I'm gonna go now, and wait... Why are you in here?" I asked

"I got chased by fangirls again, you know the usual, I'm gonna skip right now, it's math and my teacher barely cares if I go" He said and took a seat. I hid my diary behind my back so he won't see it.

"I guess I'll go now..?" I said, unsure

"No wait" He said before I could walk away.

"Yes?" I asked

"Earlier in the cafeteria...

Minho's POV

My friends were being noisy once again, Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jeongin, yeah those four. Hyunjin being the most noisy one of course.

"Hey guys look it's Lixie" Changbin pointed out at the table not too far from us.

"Waaaah whipped" Jeongin cheered and Changbin blushed.

"What's the tea sis" Chan teased

"You guys already know..." He replied

"You gotta introduce us man!" Hyunjin said and Changbin panicked.

"HAHAHAHA I'm sorry beanie hyung" We overheard Felix so we all looked his way.

"Oh now you did it" Seungmin said, playfully smacking his aussie friend.

"Oww Chan hyung, Seungmin is being mean" Felix faked a cry.

"Anyways why were you sorry?" Jisung asked and I could feel the burning gazes of my friends towards me.

"What? Why do you have to look at me like that?" I asked and just kept on looking at this cute little squirrel... I meant Jisung.

"Oh just wanted to defend my boyfriend" Felix said and looked at Changbin seductively

"Ooooh go get him Changbinnie" Hyunjin cheered

"Eww couples but go Changbin hyung!" Jeongin cheered along with them.

Both of our tables and a few cheered for the now publicly announced couple, but instead of cheering for them I kept glancing at the obviously miserable squirrel-like boy. "You never told me!" He forced a smile and faked a laugh.

That hurts...

"I thought it was obvious!" Felix said in a playful angry manner.

"You didn't tell your best friend hmph" Jisung faked like he was angry too but I can see he was just trying not to look upset... I wish I was there for you.. I knew how you felt about him..

"Booboo the fool, they were the loudest couple yesterday in the lockers too" Seungmin said and Jisung looked shocked.

"What happened yesterday?!" He asked, both Felix and Changbin blushed.

"Well, Felix slipped and Changbin may or may not ran from across the hallway just to catch his beloved aussie" Hyunjin gushed and they cheered more.

"The next was too graphic, but I'm surprised no clothes went into the floor" Jeongin said

"No no no you innocent baby, did you cover your eyes at least?" Chan asked like a concerned father

"Oh- let's say I did hehe" Jeongin said and ran away.

"Hey! Don't run away you brat, wait til I tell your mother" Chan said and I looked back at the table where Jisung was, to find out that he was not there anymore.

"It's Lee Minho!"
"Wait he came to the cafeteria today?!"
"Omg I missed his ethereal face!"
"Get him!"

Okay here we go..

"Guys" I said and they nodded before I rushed off. Hyunjin ran with me too, he has his own fangirls to deal with, good thing my friends' fangirls were understanding.

"I love the attention and all but they are so blind not to see my rainbow energy" Hyunjin said as we ran.

"I know the feeling, I'll go in a separate classroom, you go somewhere else bye" I said and ran faster

"WAIT NOOOO DON'T LEAVE ME"

"What? You just left him- HAHAHAH" Jisung kept laughing until he was rolling on the floor, clutching his stomach. At least you're not sad anymore... I would gladly be your distraction as long as your beautiful smile remains on your face.

"If we went on the same path more girls would follow us duh" I said and he just kept laughing, I chuckled, and after his laughter died down, I helped him up.

"I already thought you were an idiot but this just tops it" He said and still laughed. I'm really glad you're smiling right now.

"Hey! I am smart too" I said acting offended and he took a seat so I sit beside him.

"Sure mister brains and looks" He said and giggled to himself.

"Okay that's just the worst nickname I have ever gotten and trust me I heard more" I said and he laughed.

"I don't know why but you're making me laugh harder than I was supposed to" He said in between laughters.

"What were you going to tell me other than why you ended up here by the way?" He asked as he wiped a tear from laughing so hard.

"It's obvious Hannie" I said lowly and he looked down again... Bad idea.

"Too obvious?" He asked with a small voice

"I'm sure he doesn't know but I just guessed... " I said and he frowned. I hugged him tightly and ruffled his hair, soon I felt my shirt dampen.

"Let it out Jisungie, I'm here for you, I'll be the shoulder you can lean on, I can be the shelter that will protect you, rely on me, it's okay to show your pain" I said and he cried harder, clutching my arm.

I hugged him tighter, he hugged me back and we spent minutes upon minutes just there sitting and hugging each other.

For now I'll be your friend, I'll be your distraction, I'll do everything I can, you deserve everything, love and affection.
