Yuuto, a sophomore known for always getting good grades and awards walked slowly towards the front doors of his school. While walking through the courtyard he noticed a certain boy whom he knew since 2nd grade.

Yuuto stopped, and chuckled.
He watched as Karuto made his way up to him.
He arrived a few feet away, panting.

"You really need to get in shape." I pointed out.

'Karuto may be skinny and all, but he definitely is not made for running or any aerobic exercise.
Believe me those lungs barely carry him to school!'

He regained his composure.

"You're one to talk, you totally flunked last year in gym!"
"Actually."

I grabbed an envelope from my bag and pulled the paper it contained.

"Yuuto, an excellent student and with a above average score of a 98% in all gym activities. We would love to have him next year!" I read

"You're lying! It does not say that!" Karuto yelled whilst trying to reach the paper in my hand as I dodged his hand movements.

Author's Pov

"Hey guys what's up!"
The boy's eyes traveled to the side.

There stood Kiana, with her long brown hair, fair skin, and high held head.
Popular with the guys for her looks and charm.

Karuto pulled his arms down and cleared his throat.
"Hey" He acted cool.

Kiana chuckled, which caused a small blush to form on Karu's face.

"Hey guys! Don't forget me!" Leana yelled from Kiana's side.
"I'm sorry who are you?" Karuto said sarcastically.

"I'm your friend you idiot!" She yelled punching him the head.

Kiana and Yuuto had a nice laugh.

"Hey! That hurt!" Karuto whined

"So, how have you been?" Kiana turned to face Yuuto.
"Huh? Oh, uuuummm the same I guess?" Yuuto said confused on what to provide as an answer.

"Haha, You really are the same as you were last year and the year before that. Seriously, you need to change things up every once in awhile." She laughed

"I do change things up!" He argued

"Yeah? Like what?" She asked.

"See! This new bag!" He beamed showing off the anime bag.

"Really." She stated clearly unimpressed.

"Hey! I put a lot of money into getting this bag." Yuuto argued

"See you put so much money into something that isn't going to have a use except to lay broken on your bedroom floor along with a pile of dirty 6 month old clothes."

"W-wha? Karuto back me up on this one!" He yelled pulling the two out of their fight.

Karuto turned his head towards Yuuto and back to Kiana.

"She's not wrong." He shrugged his shoulders.

Yuuto fell to his knees in disappointment and betrayal.
"If you guys need me I'll be laying in my dark hole." Yuuto said curling up into a ball on the concrete floor.

"What's wrong with you! You damn Otaku!" Leana yelled kicking him in the side.

"Waaaaaah! That hurt!" He yelled clutching his side, rocking back and forth.
