Misaki Yata x Reader ( one shots)

A cat?

                        It was a glorious Sunday morning, 6am to be in fact. (Y/N) decided to get up early and go for a walk. The wind was brushing through (y/n)'s hair. Suddenly a noise made (y/n) come to a halt. ~Meowwwwww~ (y/n) though they were going crazy from hearing a cat outside in this weather. ~meowwwww~. They heard it again. You decided to go and investigate where the sound was coming from. Their ears perked up when they heard the sound coming from a dumpster? They opened a lid and saw a trash bag moving around viciously. They hopped into the dumpster and opened the bag to see a frightened kitten inside. You thought " how could someone throw a kitten away? Why not take them to a shelter? The nerve of some people. god."

                    You picked them up and realized that this kitten was a Sphinx kitten, meaning they were hairless, which also meant they had a harder time staying warm in cold weather. You let out a sad sigh and picked them up and they immediately snuggled into you, desperately trying to get warm. You were wearing a thick coat, so you put the kitten in your coat to keep warm. You started to laugh to yourself " I wonder how Misaki is going to react to this? Well I don't care how he reacts, you are staying with us and that is final!" The kitten looked at you and meowed happily. You gathered your stuff and decided to walk home and show Misaki. 

                 When you were halfway home, you passed a pet store. You looked at him and said " well if you are staying with us you are going to need supplies!" You walked in, grabbed a shopping cart and went through the aisles. You grabbed a litter box, litter, a scoop, food, treats, food and water bowls, a cute light blue collar, toys and a scratching post.  You went up to the cashier and she gave you a bright smile. " Is this everything for you today?" She said with a smile. You nodded and said " Yes it is, thank you." She rung you up and your total was only $112.76. You handed her the money, in which she handed you back your change. You grabbed all your bags and finished the walk home. Suddenly, your phone rang. You picked it up to see the love of your life calling you.

              " (Y/N)! Where are you? You are usually back within an hour and its been three!" 

              " I know I know there was a little misshape that happened, don't worry I am okay, I just don't know how you are going to react to this"

           " Well... I'm sure it cannot be that bad, I shall see you when you get home b-babe, I love you!"

           " I love you too, see you then!"

            You ended the call, suddenly you felt a wave of anxiety pass through you. " What if he doesn't want you there?" You said to the kitten. You ignored your thoughts and continued home. When you saw the apartment building in sight, you took a deep breath. The kitten got out of your coat and crawled up to your shoulder and stayed there. You smiled at him. You got up to your door and too your keys out. Opening the door you see a pacing Misaki. He heard the door open and looked at you. " Oh I was so worried! Are you okay? What happ-" He stopped mid-sentence. He looked at you, the kitten, then you again. He closed his eyes and said " Why.. Why do you have a ballsack on your shoulder?" You gasped " He is not a ballsack! He is a cute little kitten that I so happened to find in a dumpster on my morning walk!" You placed your bags on the kitchen table and grabbed him off your shoulders and gave him a kiss. You got the collar from the bag and put it on him, so it would fit alright. You put him on the ground and he started to run around happily. " Misaki, I am keeping him whether you like him or not" You said, standing your ground. He looked at you and smiled with, of course, a blush on his face. " I wasn't going to say no, I was going to say, that now... we have our own little family" You blushed when he said family. " Yeah I guess we do now" He walked over to you and gave you a kiss. You melted into his touch. You were getting really into it when, the kitten started to meow loudly. You looked down at him and grabbed him and gave him to your love. You took everything out of the bags. You took the litter box out, poured the litter in it, put the food and water bowls out, filled them out. Poured the toys all over the ground. You put everything else away, except for the scratching post which needed to be set up. Misaki put the kitten down and he went straight for the food. You chuckled at him. " Babe do you want me to help you with this?" You looked at Misaki and saw that he was talking about the scratching post. You nodded and said " That would be lovely"  

          After an hour you finally finished putting up the scratching post for your little baby. You and Misaki decided to name him Anubis. You texted Anna and sent her a picture of the three of you together, She texted back " so cute! cant wait to see the little guy".  You smiled and texted her saying she is welcome anytime. You smiled big " Misaki! Can you believe it? We have a little family of our own now! It is so exciting." He smirked and looked at you. You gave him a puzzling look and said " what?" He walked up to you and trapped you against the wall. " There are other ways we can start a family" You were surprised with what he said. Usually he is a shy type of person, especially when it comes to stuff like this. You blushed and said " Oh really?" He nodded his head yes and said " well why don't we start for another addition to the family?" You nodded and he lead you to the bedroom.
