It was Tuesday, and much to my relief, the lightstick had finally arrived. It was a morning concert so I had to dress accordingly. Thank god it wasn't a night one, my pimples seem magnified at night.
I went shopping to buy a new outfit for the same. I predicted that it will by far be the best and most expensive outfit I'll ever own. I tried to take my mind of him and buy something sensible but all I could think of that day was him. At the end of the day, I ended up spending twice as much as I wanted to because I bought an outfit for him too. I don't know why, but I saw this one outfit that had me totally dying. I imagined him in that outfit and turned redder than a ripe tomato. Staff must have noticed this, and came up to me. He said, "Sir if you think your boyfriend will look that hot in this outfit, cuz your face says it all, you should probably gift him that!". "He's not my boyfriend, though I wish he was!", I said without thinking. I almost kicked myself for just outing myself.
"Oh! Go get him, tiger! But that outfit is unique, it only suits a few. And if you think that he'll look good in that, he probably will. You know what, I'll get it for you with the employee discount because it's too damn expensive, I'll admit it. Would you like to take me up on that offer?"
"Why, thank you. I think I just might."
"Though I must say, sir, you have a good taste in both clothes and men, and that's a rare trait."
"Thank you so much. I don't get complimented this often, it's making me red, so, stop."
I thanked him and left with the outfits.

And this I bought for myself. It's nothing special, I know, but extravagant outfits don't suit me. But each and every component of this outfit was expensive as fuck. I practically blew away my life's savings that day, but who cares. We'll get it back someday.
