He slid his hands down my arms, now gripping the pistol as well. I felt him breathe next to my ear, my heart racing at this point.
Why wasn't i flinching?
He breathed in before talking, pressing his chest against my back just a little more, me not even moving away. He aimed the pistol right, his finger now on the trigger.
"Like this."

After he spoke, he pulled the trigger, aiming perfectly at the target's heads, the bullets going through all of them, making me look like a whole fool. How skilled is this man? The bangs were loud, it made my ears ring, which was very annoying. He got all of the targets.
Daryl backed away from me, setting the gun down on the counter. "You're involved now, Océane." He told me in a gentle voice, looking me in the eye. "But i-" I started to protest, him now holding a hand up. "Don't try it, Océane. You're involved now and that's that. We have to solve this case and then you can... go." He explained, cleaning the gun with a wipe. When he said 'go', he sounded a bit sad. But it might've only been me.
"Really? Just a simple case and then i can go? What do i have to do?" I asked, quite surprised.
Then, i heard him chuckle. "Simple?" He asked, setting the gun down again. Now walking towards me. "It isn't that easy, Océane. It involves the most dangerous maffias, like myself. You could get killed. That's why i'm gonna train you." Daryl said as if there's nothing wrong, making me scoff in disbelief.
"Why did i have to get involved! You could've just left me at home with my dad!" I angrily said, making his expression turn quite serious. I wasn't gonna lie, it made me quite scared.
He's annoying, he really makes me angry. Yet, makes me feel secured somehow..
"Océane. Don't raise your voice at me. Business like this isn't easy. I am the king in this game. But it doesn't mean we can't get killed, you need to be trained in case something happens." Daryl said, moving next to me, then leaning into my ear a bit to whisper in my ear; "And your dad isn't exactly a sweetheart. Your room where you can sleep is in the previous room, there's a door there that'll lead you."
With that, Daryl left the room, going off to God knows where. I sighed deeply, scared for my life but made my way to my room, that Daryl instructed me to go to.
It was a beautiful room, elegant decors and beautiful walls. My house can't even compete with this, even if it cost a lot. I could honestly live here, only if i wasn't involved with these people. I haven't seen the rest of this building yet, maybe i'm thinking of this too early.
As if i'm gonna live here.
I sat down on the bed, my mind filled with questions that i wanted to bombard Daryl with. But obviously i couldn't. He would probably either get mad, kill me, or... kill me. There was literally no in between. Meanwhile i was still trying to figure out who Mr. Jackson was, and how i could get to him because i really wanted to go home.
"Mr. Jackson, i'll soon get to you. I know i will."
And with that, i fell asleep on the covers of the bed, but obviously i wasn't gonna wake up to cover myself up with them.

Daryl
"Because i don't want to, John! I want my fucking money. But obviously, mr. Claudien had to ruin his chance of not being killed and not pay me." I yelled, slamming my desk. I was currently in my office with a few of my men and someone i've worked with, since forever.
"I know, Michael. We're gonna make him give you your money. If he doesn't, he dies." John explained, making me nod slightly, not looking at him. I was leaned back in my office chair, hands intertwined.
There was a moment of silence, millions of questions running through my mind. I bet Océane has them too.. she's probably scared to ask me some.
A small smile formed on my face at the thought of her, which i knew was wrong so i wiped it off. I shouldn't be smiling at the thought of her. She's the daughter of my enemy.
After the silence, John spoke up and asked me a question i knew how to answer right away. "What are you gonna do with the girl though?"
My fierce eyes shot up to look at him, my lips parting to speak. "I'm gonna train her. She's involved now." I answered simply, making John fix his tie. "Michael, you can't involve her! She's a rookie. Worse yet, the daughter of your own worst enemy! Michael, i do not approve."
I stood up, slamming my hands on the table, looking at every single men in the room. "Keep her safe. If you don't, you die." I said sternly, making every men in the room swallow, even John.
"If she doesn't cooperate?" He asked, making me walk around the desk to my office door. I grabbed the handle but paused, only to turn my head a bit. "Then she dies, too. But only on my command."
I closed my office door, leaving the men behind over there. I hope i won't have to kill Océane. I made my way over to her room, only to find her sleeping soundly on the bed. But she wasn't covered. She's gonna freeze to death tonight if she doesn't cover herself up. I walked towards her, putting her under the blankets. She has to stay warm, she can't get sick.
I looked at the time, 04:57am. I should go to bed aswell, i walked towards the door and gave sleeping Océane a last glance, before really closing the door. After that, i made my way to my own room and got ready to get into bed. I'm gonna make sure she gets food and new clothes tomorrow. She needs to be ready for training tomorrow.
Don't make me kill you, Océane.
