Melody's POV

Peter and I made it to the Staten Island Ferry terminal, and Peter jumped to catch the ferry using his glider wings. He landed on the hull, and I wasn't far behind.

"I see you've been practicing your suits' entire range of capabilities, Webhead," I said.

"Yes, but can we talk about that later?"

"Sure thing, Underoos."

"Okay, Karen, activate Enhanced Reconnaissance Mode," Peter said.

"It's the guy from the bridge, right? Who's that other guy?" I asked.

"I can't talk right now. I'll call her back," Peter said, out of the blue.

"Call who back?" I asked.

"Aunt May. Now shhhhh." I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, Drony, keep an eye on that guy. We can't let anybody get away this time," Peter said, and Drony hovered by the window. Peter climbed up to the ferry roof, and crawled to the edge, peering down at four men on the front deck.

"Who's the guy on the left?" Peter asked, pausing before speaking again. "No, Karen, stop it with the Instant Kill already."

"Instant Kill was my idea," I grinned.

"Of course it was," Peter groaned and I stifled a laugh. "Drony, scan the ship for a white pickup truck." The tiny drone scanned the cargo under the deck and spotted a pickup truck. It hovered over the truck and scanned its contents. One of the targets got out of the car and led the slim man to the back.

"Oh, this is too perfect. We got the weapons, buyers, and sellers all in one place," Peter said. And then Peter got a call from, I had to assume, my dad. It's the only call Karen would answer without Peter's say-so. Peter hurried to end the call and used a web to snatch a keychain from one of the targets.

"I'll take those! Yoink!"

"Did you really just say 'yoink'?" I asked as Peter leaped onto the deck. I was ignored.

"Hey, guys. The illegal-weapons-deal-ferry was at 10:30. You missed it," Peter said, disarming two guys with webs, kicking another and slamming him. The guy with the electrified gauntlet tried to hit Peter and I caught the gauntlet in my hand and absorbed the power.

"Thanks for the charge, Dickhead!" I grinned, kicking him in the nuts.

The two thugs Peter webbed got up and went behind Peter.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not so fast. Are you guys okay? My bad. That was a little hard," he said, slamming them with a motorcycle. He then turned his attention to the Dickhead, as I had deemed him.

"I gotta say the other guy was way better with that thing," he said, reloading his web shooter. "I'm honestly, I'm, I'm shocked." Peter shot a web grenade behind him, attaching a thug to the wall with it. And then FBI agents come out of nowhere and aim at us.

"Freeze! FBI!" one exclaimed.

"Don't move," the other one said.

"Get on the ground. FBI."

"Wait, what do you mean, FBI?" Peter asked.

"The FBI is the Federal Bureau of Investigation,: I replied without really thinking.

"I know what the FBI means, but what are they doing here?"

"I don't have an answer to that," I replied. A mechanical wing bursted out of the truck, making the agents turn to it. Bird-man flew toward the deck in his vulture suit, and the agents shot at him.
