Book 2: So The Wolf and The Lamb Are In Love

A/n this book is almost done. This is going to be a long chapter, just letting you know.

Paul's PoV (Day 1)

They moved Bella into a guest bedroom on the main floor for a more comfortable setting for her transition. She sometimes wakes up screaming and withering in pain. Alice says it takes up to three or four days for the transformation to be complete.
Alice tried to get as much venom out of Bella's body as possible but it was all ready too late. The venom that was still in Bella, was already beginning to flow through her veins.

We called Carlisle and he told us that there is a chance that Bella could still have some human traits and some vampire ones, since it seems like whatever is left the venom and her blood are being mixed together.

I haven't left my wife's side since I got here. I will do anything in my power to have her come back to me. Alice just sits in the corner waiting and watching for any sign of movement, while Jasper and Emmett talk to the Volturi. Jake is in his wolf form since he doesn't trust these bloodsuckers one bit. The smell must be really awful for him now. They smell bad, when we're human, but when we go wolf. You don't even want to know.

The kid has been in here a couple of times, probably making sure that nothing happens 'his Mia Bella'. It's been taking me everything I've got to not kick his ass. This is all his fault, all he had to do was stay in his damn lane and staying away from Bella.

"You know, this is all your fault." I growled out letting go of Bella's hand and slowly standing up.

"Is it?" Alec replied cocking his head to the side.

"Yeah, it is." I said through clenched teeth.

I rolled my shoulders and cracked my neck before making my way towards him. He stood facing me with a smirk on his face.

"When she wakes up, she's going to be half-vampire." He smirked.

"Are you sure you're still going to love her, when she smells disgusting to your kind?" He continued as he folded his arms across his chest.

"She's better off with me." He added.

I began to uncontrollably shake and Seethe in anger and the next thing I knew I had him slammed against the wall in a choke hold.

"Jasper! Emmett!" Alice worriedly yelled for her two family members.

"You no nothing," I growled out, "I will love her until the day I die and I will love her after. She is mine and I am hers. So f*cking deal with it!"

"Paul let him go." I heard Emmett say from behind me.

I got in the kids face and growled, squeezing his neck until I saw little cracks in it. I shoved away from him and made my way back to Bella and got onto the bed with her.

I wrapped my arms around her to comfort myself and to make sure she doesn't hurt herself when another fit comes. I narrowed my eyes as Alec walked out of the room not without giving me one last glare.

Jake padded in and fell in a heap at the end of the bed and fell into a deep sleep. I thought about sleeping but I was more worried about Bella. . I know she can't help it, but I wish this was over.

I tried to stay awake after dealing with three more fits from Bella. But, I couldn't do it. I fell asleep listening to her fluctuating heartbeat.

Alice's PoV (Day 2)

I had Emmett pick Paul up and put him on the sofa by the bed incase Bella had another fit and ended up subconsciously hitting Paul. Jasper has been dealing with the Volturi, telling them that once she wakes up, we will see how thirsty she is and after we deal with that, we're leaving.

Aro and Alec weren't very happy about that. Aro, because he'll probably want Bella on his guard if she ends up having a power, and he's still trying to get me on the guard. Maybe I should show him his future, then he'd rethink this whole thing. Alec still he's Bella as his true mate even after I've shown him that she isn't, but he's starting to have little doubts about being mates. Little doubts.

After Jasper came back into the room, is when I learnt of Bella's future. Her future was the most beautiful vision I had ever seen.

Vision:
Bella and Paul were walking down hand in hand on the beach in La Push. They walked a couple of feet until they stopped and stared at the beautiful sunset. As they stood there two other people walked up beside them.

A girl and a boy.

They each took turns hugging each other then continued to watching the sun set together.

As a family.

It's been a couple of hours since I had the vision, but her fits have gotten worse and worse over the past hours. Paul woke up an hour and a half ago due to her screams and has been trying everything he can. We can't do anything, all we can do is make as comfortable as possible.

But I fear that she won't survive. I can't say that, I need to have hope. I have to give Paul hope.
