Esme Cullen's Diary

Entry 3 - Together Forever. -

Its been more than a '100 years' since I left writing on here. I can't believe I kept it ignored, placed together with more than a hundred books, I've read and finished years ago.

Despite the fact that I'm a vampire now, I still forgot about this book I loved years ago. Vampires don't forget anything. ANYTHING. I guess I was just so engaged in other things.

Although these are just a few pages piled up together. They've been very special to me. I bought this Diary with many ambitions. Ambitions that I would write everything on here. I would freeze all those beautiful moments with my newborn son on here. My son, my life, my family and most of all my happiness. I never knew that there would be a completely unexpected turn in my life. I never even 'thought' about it.

This was the only hope, only happiness I had in the previous years of my human life.

I guess my human life was just this unlucky. There were only disasters in it. Until Carlisle brought a whole new world infront of me.

I was hoping to go and join my son up in heaven. I did'nt expect changing into a 'vampire' after jumping off a cliff. I truly did'nt. Infact no one would, would they?

The last time I wrote in this diary. I was in misery. In pain. I had said that there was a deep cut in my heart. Ofcourse, its still not healed up yet. Its still there, somewhere inside my heart. Hidden.

But this whole new life has really brought a whether of spring into my dull life. And its all because of Carlisle. It's like he's operated me. We married later on. I was suprised to find out that he loved me

If you see the Esme that was there a 100 years ago, and the one there writing this diary now, you'll see the difference.

Now, being a vampire, I don't have only one child; I have 6 children. All grown up. Aswell as a

grand - daughter. They're actually erm, well infront of humans mine and Carlisle's adopted children. But really, I've never thought of them as adopted. For me, they're my very own children. Its our very own 'vegi' coven. The Cullens.

I think the paragraph up there needs some more input, does'nt it?. I know it sounds so weird. I mean we all are vampires. Oh, sorry vegi - vampires. We live on animal's blood. Instead of Human blood.

Ok, I really don't want to go on talking about that.

So my 6 , all grown - up and physically 17- 18 year old's and Carlisle, are my life now. Oh, and ofcourse my grand daughter aswell.

Edward.Our first adoptive son.I mean our first son. The first one who joined our coven, and the first one to become a 'vegi' with us. Just after a few time, he left us again, and decided to live on human blood. But later, with regret joined us again. He's never been any different from my real son (if I had one). I was really worried for him before Bella came in his life. He would be so lonely before. Now its as if there's a whole new turn of happiness in his life now.

Bella. My daughter in-law less, but my daughter more. So she's the newest member of the family. And really, lovely. I guess she's the only one in our family who wished to be changed into a vampire herself. While we were in Forks, Bella and Edward met at school. I really don't know what really happend. But Edward did tell us about her. We're not allowed to keep secrets related to humans you see. Its not safe.

Me, Carlisle, and the rest of our family: Alice and Rosalie; my only daughters at that time, and Emmet and Jasper; my other two sons, were sitting together in the living room. Alice, going through a catalogue of a new clothing shop just recently open; Emmet and Jasper, playing a baseball game on the wii; Rosalie, reading a magazine; and me and Carlisle just randomly chatting.

'Urm hey everyone', he joined us all. 'I've got something to tell you.'

And that's after we got to know what's going on. I knew that Bella was'nt someone who would be of any harm or anything, so I was actually quite happy that Edward had found someone.

So this is my new family. We're all together forever.

Well, I haven't actually mentioned everyone in detail yet. But I hopefully will when I get my hands on this diary again. They're alot of preperations to be done for Christmas!
