I feel my stomach twist as the bus behind me vanishes and my protector has gone. Many students are outside walking through the double green gates. They're something ripped out the ground from a prison besides them everything else seemed wonderful. I made my way through to the entrance and opened the big wooden red door and different shapes and sizes of people were neatly formed in a queue. I merrily joined the back and stood patiently until it was my time.
"Megan?" I turn around and see a lady with short Carmel hair holding a gigantic charcoal folder in her arms. "I'm Sue." she said. "I'm your tutor for the semester, you were interviewed by my colleague." She continued. I felt a lot better knowing someone knew me without myself saying my name. "You best come with me, don't want to be late for the tutor do we?," she made a joke and laughed to herself I just smiled and nodded and we walked out of the building and to the side building it had glass all the way around, the door would only open with a certain card. Everyone seemed to have one apart from me. We entered the door and on the left hand side was a flight of stairs, in front was the toilets and on the right was double doors leading down a corridor, we went through them and the second classroom on the left is where we stopped. "Morning" Sue called as she walked over to her desk. "This is Megan she will be joining us." Again I smiled and took a seat on the opposite side of the classroom, I felt like all eyes were on me I looked up and I was right. I was sat between two boys. One of them had short blonde hair and a smiley face, the other was a small boy with soft curly brown hair. They was trying to talk to one another. "Do you want to sit here?" I asked the short blonde hair boy. "No it's okay." He replied and smiled. I smiled back.
We was learning about safety in the work area and how to behave when the bell rang and everyone started to get restless and shuffle. "Fifteen minutes." She called out.
"I'm Brendan, are you going anywhere for lunch?"
"Megan and nope, I don't really know anyone." I say.
"Would you like to come with us?" Brendan asks looking in the direction of the boy with soft brown hair and another with straight brown hair. We was outside of our classroom where the double doors were and we was talking about which schools we came from we didn't fancy going into the canteen since we only had a few minutes so we continued talking and I was looking around and stared at my classmates and read in between the lines. A chubby girl with short blonde hair, a hoody and some jeans was very overconfident she was with another chubby girl only this one had long brown hair extensions and a light grey cardigan with jeans. A girl was on her own with thick mousey brown hair tied up she was wearing a superman hoody with black sheer leggings. Two guys were sitting on the steps showing off and talking over the rest of the group. Short brown and blonde hair with a bright blue Adidas jumper was Samuel the other boy had medium brown hair with a fringe and he was pared with a light grey hoodie and some washed out jeans with his phone in his left hand pocket. Tyler. They were talking to the chubby girls while laughing every now and then. Their was a dark boy who had black clothing and we struggled to understand us, but we was very friendly never less and was happy to talk to me and everyone else. I quickly learnt names Douglas was the guy with short straight brown hair and Kieran was the one with curly brown hair. We all connected really well. "I'm having a party at my house on Friday do you want to come?" Kieran said while looking into my eyes. "Yeah that would be nice." I said.
I haven't been to many parties in my life and a college one sounds fantastic I was really excited and I couldn't believe I was making friends so easily.
