Walkers Stopped Me.

It was 5:00 am and I heard a thumping at the door I didn’t need to look out the door to tell what it was, I knew that it was a walker.I was rushing to put all of my things in a bag because I knew that the door would not hold much longer.I didn’t have a lot of things only some canned foods, a blanket,and a 

buck knife that has been through most of my life.The thumping finally stops and I hear a giant crack.The door broke I need to make a quick escape but the only other way out of the room is the window, and it is a two story drop down.

I guess that I should have thought of that before I had picked this room to raid.

I pick up the knife and run to the hallway, the walker is coming closer then I grab it and stab its head so the brain is dead instantly.Well hey now the door is open so I take the opportunity to leave.I guess I should tell you the backstory of all of this well here it goes.Back in 2014 a virus known as lill was found mankind did not know what it did.The government wanted to know if they could use it as a biological warfare weapon.So they got a sample of it and tested it out on some Terrorist they had captured.Then they had a doctor come in and 

give the terrorist a dose of the virus.The government watched and tested the two men after a while they started complaining of some head irritations.After a couple of minutes the two men died the government men were impressed but approximately thirty seconds passed and something strange occurred.The men started to move but their vitals were still they should have been dead.They stood up and looked at the armed guards in the room they ran at the guards, the two dead men were shot at but they didn’t die until shot in the head by then they had bit the guard multiple times.You could see his flesh hanging by threads and you could see the muscles and bones inside the arm he was bleeding very badly.The man died quickly and in thirty seconds he had turned and then it spread, people were getting infected by getting bit by a walker.A walker is what we call the people who come back to life after being bit by an infected.

That is how this whole thing started if you wanted to know.Now back to me I left the room and start walking down the hallway of the motel I need to find a way out of the city.Right now I’m in Carson city Nevada and I need to get to Las Vegas Nevada I believe that is around four hundred miles I think.Why do I need to get to Nevada well I have some family there.Plus there could be an army base out there that I could raid.I have three kids two girls and a boy one of my daughters is eight her name is Leena and the other is thirteen and her name is Becca the boy that i have is 17 and his name is trenton he is very smart.My wife had passed away recently but i don’t want to talk about it or i might get really sad again,I had left two weeks ago on a business meeting and trenton was going to take care of the girls.Then this virus hit and now all I want is them to be in my arms again.I suddenly stop i thought i heard a couple of shots go off.Then out of nowhere the empty street in front of me burst into life as a military humve came driving down it.The people inside it were shooting all of the walkers that got close to it I dropped to the ground and hid behind a car.When they got near they stopped and I thought I could hear them talking about seeing something over here.I don’t know what to do, do I go with them and see if their are friendly or do I hide from them?I decided to go with them so I stand up and lower my gun I say that I’m not going to hurt them.They raise their weapons and say that if I stay there they would think of taking me with them.So I stood and waited they all got into a group and started  talking.I start to notice the weapons they have and they have some pretty heavy weaponry. They had a humve with a 50 cal on it.They were also carrying some ak-47 and 12 gauge shotguns.They finally get done talking and a man walks over I guess he is their leader.When he gets to me he holds out his hand and I take it then as quick as lightning he pulls out a pistol and puts it to my temple.I notice that someone is walking up behind me and then the world goes dark and I fall down.When I wake up my head feels like it was split open.When I finally sit up I  look around and see that I'm in some kind of a cellar.It is almost all dark accept for lines of light coming through the floor boards above me.
