Momoko POV
I'm so excited! I'm starting my job at the sweet shop today!! during my break I'll eat all the sweets I want and since I'm a employee I'll probably have a discount. he he.
I grabbed my bag and ran out the front door. after what feels like a mile of running, I made it to the sweet shop. I was still panting when I got inside, and was greeted by a hit in the stomach with an apron by...BRICK!?
"Brick?! what are you doing here?"
"Is that a trick question? I own the shop. Didn't you know that when you first applied to the job?"
"No but-"
"No buts, butts are for grabbing. Get to work!"
I was still stunned. how did Brick get to own this place? I quickly snapped out of it and began waiting tables. I come to this place all the time so I already memorized the entire menu by heart.
I took my first table's order than another and another. that was the easy part but then came the hard part, bringing the food to them. The food looked so delicious I was about to take a bite out of it when I mentally slapped myself. 'Don't look at the food. just keep walking to the table.' I kept telling myself that until the end of the day. I was so exhausted from trying not to eat the customers' food that I didn't notice Brick walk over. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Brick, let go." was all I said. I was too tired to slap him.
"Why? Nobody else is around."
It took me a moment to look around and realize that Brick was actually correct, nobody was in the shop except for the two of us. The thought gave me a little shiver.
"Oh" I said
"Nice work you did today. If you keep that up..."
He leaned toward my ear and whispered, "you'll get a special bonus"
Now I was confused what did he mean by bonus?
"You mean like more money?"
"Nope"
"Cake?"
"No"
"Than what?"
"You'll find out soon enough"
I shivered and pulled out of his grip.
"You should lock up now buy." I ran to my house as fast as I could. What could he mean by bonus?
For the next couple of days he kept mentioning that bonus but never told me anything about it. His words kept lingering in my head.
Than on Friday he told me he would give me my special bonus today. I had a strange feeling in my stomach. it was a mixture of nervousness and excitement and...hope? Hope for what? A raise? A cake? well I was about to find out.

At the end of the day Brick grabbed my wrist and dragged me into an... office? He locked the door. I was about to ask why, but he pushed me against a wall.
"You like my office?"
"Uh- " I didn't have time to respond. He crashed his lips onto mine and stuck his tongue in my open mouth since I tried to respond to his question. I relaxed and kissed him back. His lips were so soft. I could stay like this forever. Now I realized what that hopeful feeling in my gut was.
