jiwoo slowly walked into the house and saw renjun wrapped in the many blankets on the couch. "how did you get it?" renjun sat up quickly.

"your door was unlocked? imagine if it was a serial killer instead of me." jiwoo laughed placing a few takeaway boxes on the table.

"what in the world are those?" renjun finally stood up on his legs and walked over near the table, his eyes lighting up upon seeing the takeaway boxes for dumpling.

jiwoo could see his bright red cheeks and runny, red nose. his hair was more disheveled than usual and his eyes were slightly watery and bloodshot.

"oh my god, thanks." his voice was scratching and rough. renjun never liked being sick because he never liked how his voice was scratchy and disgusting when he was sick.

renjun soon devoured the dumplings she had brought, thanking her every few seconds. "oops, sorry i keep eating all these. you take thes— you look stupid right now, please eat these." renjun laughed at jiwoo fondly smiling at him. "you just look funny eating all that."

"why aren't you hanging out with your friends?" jiwoo asked as she took bite of a dumpling renjun had offered.

"they won't talk to me so i stopped talking to them aswell. i talk to jeno sometimes though." he sat back, stretching his arms out. "it's okay, i get where they're coming from and i'm still sorry!" he added.

"you tell me sorry one more time and i'll actually stab you with this butter knife!" jiwoo grabbed the closest butter knife from the table and jokingly pointed at him. "you're annoying." renjun pointed the chopsticks at her now. "but you're my only friend right now, i can't even be mean to you." he sighed.

"did you take medicines? don't lie to me, i know you didn't." jiwoo got up and went through the small medical box on renjun's shelf.

"it's not that serious, i don't need med— okay fine." renjun stopped halfway through when jiwoo looked at him dead in the eye. "there's no point of arguing with you anyway." he mumbled.
