"Y/n, listen to me carefully. I'm going to say this once," he said, taking a deep breath.
"I am attracted to you the last few days were beautiful and I wouldn't do anything to change it, but I'm going to get married to your best friend,Mina. I can't...
"Tell me something about this John guy," I said, taking the conversation back to the safer topic.
"John? Who John?" He asked surprised. "Mina's fiancé, who else?" I said. "His name is John or something, right?" "Oh, John. Yeah! It is. I can't praise him enough. Mina is very lucky to find a guy like him."
"What does he do?" "He handles his family business" "Do you know him well?" "Quite well. We are close." He said smiling.
I knew Mina's family was very closed to jungkook's family, so jungkook knowing Mina's fiancé did not really came as surprise to me .
"I can't wait to see him."
"Oh, you will be swept off your feet, I am sure."
"What news of others? Ah...Taehyung, jimin, Sana?" They were all the friends I saw once a year during my visit to Busan.
"Sana got married a few months ago. Jimin hyung is working now. And Taehyung......he is just Taehyung nothing is changed in him. He is just the old childish Taehyung."
Taehyung and I had always got along like house on fire. He was ultra rich, ultra cool and ultra funny. His father owned an football team, a local liquor label, a construction company and many other business. Taehyung wasn't interested in any of it. His only passion was life itself.
He loves a good life.
"So many things to catch up on!" I said, mentally making a note to meet Taehyung soon.
"Yes. You have missed a lot."
"I know...more than anything, I'm just dying to see Mina. It's been so long since I've even spoken to her properly."
"You must spend some quality time with her. Once she's married, she probably won't have much time for you."
I tried not to baulk. Mina and I were close—even time could not erase that. I didn't take kindly to him, him being some-random-guy-not-even-part-of-group tell me about Mina's priorities after marriage.
"Let's take it as it comes, shall we?" I said blandly.
"By the way, was there someone supposed to pick me up besides you?" I asked.
"Tae hyung" he said, "but he got caught up with something. Why?"
"Mina was telling me that she had sent someone special to pick me up. And here it's just you!"
"Oh, that! She didn't mean Tae hyung. I think you will get your special surprise once you reach Mina's house."
Mina's grandparents house loomed ahead just as he said that. I felt like a child again. I just wanted to leap out of the car and fly the rest of the way.
Mina was waiting at the gate for me I jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped. Mina was wearing a pink floral printed lace maxi dress and looking absolutely gorgeous. If anything, she had only grown more beautiful since the last time I saw here. She was giving off those beautiful 'bride-to-be' vibes.
