Jeno - Meet Me Outside

"Ria-yah!" Mom calls me from up the hall.

"Yeah?" I answer back from my room. I was too lazy to grab the door and go up the hall so I stayed in my room. I was in a good position of comfortableness: lying down on my bed and cocooned in layers of blankets and on my face.  

"Could you please just go out of the house?" She calls back, "You haven't went outside for 2 days! Just because it's a school break, it doesn't mean that you can be all lazy in your room." She says as she rushes down the hall to come into my room. 

"But I don't want to~!" I complain as she comes into my room and yanks the blankets off of my body. I shivered because I was exposed to the coldness of the room and there were no blankets to cover me and protect me. 

"I. Said. To. Wake. Up!!!!" She says as she hits my back in between the pauses of her words. 

"Ow, ow, ow!" I shout as I rub my back and stood up on my bed, "Fine, I'll go out. Just hold on, I need to change." I say as I come down from my bed and stand in front of my mom.

"What!?!?" She hits my head looks at me in a disappointed way, "It's 2 in the afternoon and you haven't even changed from your room wear!?!? How many times shall I tell you to get changed out of your room wear that you wear to sleep as soon as you wake up!?!?" She shouts as she hits my arm. 

"Okay, okay! I'm going to get changed so can you get out of my room please?" I tell her rolling my eyes. 

"Don't you dare roll your—hey!" My mom shouts as I kick her out of my room by pushing her out of my room and close my door on her. She hits the door once and leaves since she knows that I won't open the door again unless she leaves. 

"I swear, she is so abusive." I say to myself as I choose my outfit. Since it was in the fall, I choose a white baggy shirt with long mom high rise blue jeans with a black beanie and a gray Logan cardigan. My hair was down and just in it's normal short bouncy sort of hair. I grab my phone of my dresser and tuck it into my pocket and grab my white low cute converse. 

"Mom! I'm heading out, alright? I'll be back soon!" I shout from the door way as I adjust my outfit with the mirror on the door.

"Finally! Okay, don't come back until 6pm! I have things to do!" She shouts from the kitchen and I roll my eyes. She wants to probably sleep when she says she has "Things to do". I open the door, and head out limping.

I decide to take the very sentimental route, which I knew was a bad thought but I did it anyways. I walked past a park that was so familiar and I sat down on the nearest bench since my foot was still giving me pain. I looked up and thought to myself. It's been a year since I've seen you. How are you doing there, Jeno-ah? I was very happy when I met you. 

Flash back to November 26, 2018

"Ria-yah! Look at this!" Jeno called me from in front of a shop's window show case. I rush over to his side and stand next to him, "This looks pretty, don't you think?" He asks as he points to a dark blue crystal bracelet and smiles at me with his crescent eyed smile. It really gets to me, making my heart so fluttery. But Jeno nor I expected things to twist around in a blink of an eye.

"It really is pretty!" I exclaim as I clasp his shoulder and smile at him. He smiled even wider and stood up from his crouched-down position and helped me stand up. 

"I'll buy it for you, hold on. Wait here and don't move, alright?" He asks me as he heads into the store. I listened to him and just stayed there and watched as Jeno talked to the old man who was at the cashier. He was smiling at the old man and handed him the money in order to get the bracelet for me. Then Jeno bowed to the old man as he received the bracelet and headed out the door towards me. As he came out, he waved and I waved back smiling, or more like grinning like a fool.
