Some have tricked themselves into believing that all one needs in life is the strength to lift two mountains, or the wealth to buy two islands, or the power to have an entire nation kneeling at their feet.
Those who believe such things need to wake up and face reality.
How are the muscles that twice as big as your head supposed to stop a heart attack banging at the inside of your chest? Or better yet, are they going to be of much use when someone you love is near death? All things, be it good or bad must come to and end. You can rule your country with a iron fist, stand atop a mountain of corpses and leave rivers stained with blood, however much like Hitler's reign, yours will soon be taught to students in their history classes.
You've deceived yourselves. Theses ideals are not what makes life worth living.
What makes each day are the people you cherish. The people who comfort you when your depressed, the people who make you laugh when you're having a bad day, the people you can't wait to talk to as you wake up to talk to in the morning.
