Chapter 9

I woke up in a hospital bed, but I didn't know why. I sat up and looked around. This happens a lot, surprisingly. I saw Kankuro sleeping in a chair next to the bed, but saw nobody else. He was laying his head next to my pillow, so I layed back down, facing him. I kissed his cheek, and sat back up. God, he's so hot. I wish he was real.

His eyes fluttered open, and he quickly pushed away from the bed, obviously embarrassed. I smirked. "Hey." I said, but my voice was kinda raspy since I just woke up. "How long was I out?" I asked, trying to brush my hair.

Kankuro looked at his watch, and estimated a time. "A couple hours?" He said, but came out more like a question. His morning voice is so cute! "Oh. Okay." I started to slightly braid my hair, since that's what I do when I'm nervous. I was scared that nobody cared about me.

"So, how did you know that I'm really experienced with poisons?" He asked, getting closer to the bed. "I'm not allowed to tell you. All I can say is that, well, I guess I can see the future." I said, sorta lying. He stared in disbelief. "The only thing is, it's not my future. Its everyone elses." I said, shrugging.

"So, will Naruto ever become hokage?" He asked, thinking I'll say no. "Yes, and he'll be the 7th hokage." I stated bluntly, not caring for the anime 'Boruto'.

"I've wanted to ask this for a while." I said, looking at Kankuro. "Hm" he looked at me, notifying that he was listening. "C-can I touch your hair?" I asked. Ive always been intrigued with anime boys hair since it looks so rough, but is soft, like Bakugo for example. "Uh, sure?" He said, confused. I started to mess with his hair. Oh my god, its soooooo soft! I kept messing with it, not knowing that it was making Kankuro feel sleepy.

Still messing with his hair, I heard Tsunade walk into the room. Kankuro however, was embarrassed and pushed himself away again. I leaned forward, trying to reach for his hair, but he smacked my hand away. I whimpered, and stared at Tsunade.

She looked concerned, but didnt say anything about it. "So you're finally away?" She asked, not needing a reply. She checked my heartrate and all that, and said I was able to leave.

(Time skip)

I was walking around, not caring where I ended up. I walked around the forest a little, before ending up going to the Hokage's building. I knocked on her door, and was let in after a few minutes.

"I have a question, Lady Hokage. I was wondering, since you need to know more about the Akatsuki, I could be a spy. I mean, who wouldnt trust a short girl like me?" I asked, knowing her answer. "Sasuke will leave for Orochimaru soon. Don't ask how I know. I will leave a couple days after him if I have permission." I said, standing only a couple feet from her desk. "Yes, you may go ahead, but if he does leave, i am sending Shikamaru to build a group to go with him. You will go with him, no matter what he says, alright?" She said, shooing me away. I bowed, and went home.

(Time skip)

I was walking around with Kakashi, when we heard Guy yelling at someone. We ran to a bridge by the water, seeing none other than Kisame and Itachi. I stood behind Guy and Kakashi, watching them battle it out. I turned around and tried to run to a tree to get a better cmview, but I felt someone grab my hair.

"AHHHH!" I screamed in pain. My hair was long, so he got a pretty good grip on me. I looked behind me, and saw Kisame holding me with a smirk on his lips. I immediately stopped screaming, and shrugged. He stared confusedly at me, wondering why I stopped screaming. "Hey there. As long as it's not someone liks Itachi, I'm fine." I said, shrugging yet again. I just didn't like the idea of a genjustu user touching me. I stared into his dark blue eyes, smiling a little bit.
