Missions from God: Pisces

Chapter 10

Felix and Pisces stand in the corner of the ball room, examining the guests, but even so did not prevent all the attention going towards them. Looks filled with jealousy and envy came from every direction.

“See the man with grey beard and black eyebrows? Felix points to man at the age of 40’s “He’s the Patriarch of the family of warriors, Alexandros Viro. He’s one of ten S-rank warrior in Zainia, and including him, there is total of three S-rank worriers in the family of Viro, the lady next to him is his wife” Pisces frowned, looking a bit troubled at the couple on the other side of the room, “He looks like a strict person…would he be a good father?”

Felix shrugged, “One thing for sure is that he definitely is a good teacher, his two sons, one’s fifteen is already a C-rank warrior, and the smaller one only twelve, is D-rank.” For most twelve years old, E-rank is already a very good result, many are still apprentices.

Before Pisces can process all the information, Felix already turned to another couple, the man was young, probably at the end of his 20’s, stepping into 30’s, but still much younger than Alexandros Viro, the women next to him look only about the age of 25 “That’s, Lysis Ethereal, the new patriarch of the magician family, he has a five years old son and he’s a gentlemen, most likely a good father.” Pisces crinkled her nose, “But he’s from the magician family, and god’s daughter hates magic.”

Before Felix could introduce members of the other two family, Sagittarius and Prince Aloysius has arrived. Without hesitation, they walked straight towards Pisces and Felix. Sagittarius narrowed her eyes at the sight of Felix whispering next to Pisces’s ear, she seriously cannot trust this guy.

Pulling Pisces away from Felix, she said “We haven’t seen each other for a long time and we need to have a…lady’s talk.” She then sends a cold glare to Felix, “so don’t follow!” and as soon as she finished, Sagittarius stormed out of the room dragging Pisces along.

Felix and Aloysius remain staring at each other, then the prince smiled, “Well, let’s go see some other guests shall we?” He seemed very use to the sudden actions taken by Sagittarius.

“Why not?” Felix produced an equally charming smile.

Pisces and Sagittarius are walking side by side in the garden outside, away from all the lights and noises. Pisces turned to look at Sagittarius, the moonlight has brushed on a layer of silver shine, making her look more beautiful than ever. She sighed, she could never compare with Sagittarius, her confidence, power and the glamor.

“Tell me Pisces, how has your two month in human world been?” Sagittarius tilts her head towards Pisces, her brown hair tied in a side pony tail swings with her movement.

“I was with Felix ever since I came here, he…invited me to stay. His home was like a castle, but…a haunted one and...and the food was really nice!” Pisces glanced sheepishly at Sagittarius, hoping for her not to get angry at her stay with Felix, she added, “He also helped me out with my mission…Felix, isn’t as bad as you think…”

“He helped you with the mission…YOU LET HIM KNOW YOUR IDENTITY?!” Sagittarius shouted right next to Pisces ears, her eyes wide open. For a moment Pisces thought she was going deaf, then Sagittarius suddenly calmed down and muttered to herself, “I should have known...how can Pisces hid anything from that guy” She turned and saw Pisces staring at her with those big teary eyes.

“Don’t you DARE let those tears fall or your makeup will smudge!” She hates how those eyes seem to have endless supply of tears!

Taking a deep breath, Sagittarius’s lip bend into a charming smile, “Speaking of that, what was your mission? Have you completed it?”
