Felix Elbertson, the richest man in Velothi, he controls half of Velothi; basically every single street in Velothi has a shop owned by him and in every town in Zainia there’s a business that belongs to him. Nobody knows where he came from or more like anything about him; his businesses just suddenly established in one night and became bigger and bigger. He became a legend in the business world; it is every man’s dream to be as successful as him.
Usually, successful men always have something bad about him but Felix Elbertson remained as single ladies’ top number one future husband with a perfectly clean record of no smoking, playing with women or gambling. Although many men has tried to put him down but he still stand firm in his position as the ‘richest and most wanted for husband’ man in Zainia.
“Are you alright Mr Elbertson?” the man in mask shouted, pulling Pisces away; of course, gently as she is a very delicate object, presumably one of the most sought for item tonight.
Pisces glanced up to the man she bumped into; he was a tall and handsome young man around twenty five years of age. “I’m so sorry monsieur, are you alright?” worried about the inconvenience she has caused at her ‘first job’ she has asked.
The man’s raven like hair covered part of his right eyes, his long and slanted eyes with icy grey iris stared down at Pisces. “No, I believe it is I who should apologise for injuring such a beautiful mademoiselle.” Felix grinned, giving Pisces a kiss in the hand.
Any normal ladies here would scream in delight or at least blushed at the sight of Felix kissing their hand. Even Madam Sherry, secretly known as the ice queen blushed a little when Felix kissed her on the hand.
“It’s okay, it’s my fault anyways.” Pisces smiled back, completely missing the fact that Felix is just kissed her hand. What a nice man, if Piscean is awake, she would definitely go crazy on him.
Felix couldn’t believe his eyes, not even a blush from Pisces or the slightest reaction of embarrassment. Felix knows his charm and what affects his good look has on women, so how did it failed this time?
Felix was suddenly taken by the Pisces’ frontlet, he looked intensively toward the jewel on her forehead trying to analyse it; then he saw it, a small symbol inside the jewel. His pupils widened. Ah, those shades of blue, that level of shines and the special symbol, it can only be the legendary S rank magic gem, tears of Pisces!
“Mr Elbertson? Mr Elbertson, are you listening?” Johnson who was following him for the whole time asked.
Felix frowned, deep in his thought.
“Is something the matter?” with no response from Felix, Johnson, the headmaster of the biggest black market in Zainia turned to the masked man “You there! Did something happen?” he snarled.
“You see sir…” The masked man quickly summarise the sequence of the incident.
Pisces was amazed at how fast a human face can change; especially Johnson’s changing from bribery like face to a snappy one in a lightning speed.
“Sir, she is … item…” the masked man murmured, “…Priceless… worth…fortune”
Item… pricing… Pisces grimaced as she overheard those words, although she might not have been the smartest goddess in the astrological signs but she is definitely not stupid. It was just that the pain of hunger ruled over her at that moment. Pisces linked back what Piscean had said and the fanciness of this building that no ordinary business can construct, the way that everyone is dressed and … the description of the job given by Johnson ‘stand in a certain place and smile’…
Johnson turned and smiled at Pisces before directing the masked man to send her off. On the way to their destination Pisces saws lots of aristocrats mumbling among them, humans being beat up and treated like crap yet no one helped. Pisces doesn’t understand why the human at the bottom of the food chain gets to be stepped on or why human creates such complicated hierarchy where the poor shall always stay poor.
Pisces finally realised that she is one of the ‘items’ being sold along with the antiques after her long walk stopped. They arrived at a dark room covered by thick layers of curtain; Pisces peeked through the curtains and saw a few figures either tied up and conscious or unconscious. “Is she the last one?” a voice from deep within the curtains spoke.
“Yes, this one will make a fortune.”
The masked man pushed Pisces in the curtain area and smirked, “Get her ready, she will be the star of tonight.”
Pisces opened her eyes wide as the shadow from behind the curtains emerged, shocked by what she is seeing; Pisces has always thought that even though she is a bit clueless she could at least tell the gender of human beings but … Pisces’s mouth dropped wide opened as this man or is it woman walked toward her, pulling her chin up to have a good look of her face. She didn’t expect to see another human to look so unisexual like Gemini. But Pisces decided to assume that it was a ‘he’.
“Not bad, not bad at all…” words muttered out of those large but not thick red lips, even from far away Pisces could tell that this human has put a lot of effort in layering his lips.
“Why are you looking at my lips like that little girl? Is it really that luscious?” the human’s emerald eyes smiled, changing the shape of the eye from an almond to a very dense line, the human’s eyelashes blinked and brushes against Pisces’s face as he speak.
“Don’t joke around Taylor, we don’t have much time.” The masked man’s voice suddenly charged in.
Taylor let go of Pisces and stood up, he was a very tall and slender man or woman? He sighed and walked toward a dressing table, obtaining a huge box before returning to Pisces. The gems on his dress made a ‘ting’ sound as the gems collide with each other, wavering along with his movement.
Eight… Seven… Pisces counted as Taylor walked back, she knew she had to act fast or she might really be the first goddess ever to be sold in the human world. Even though her power is half sealed, Pisces believed that it’s more than enough to escape. Beside she has sensed a large amount of water beyond the wall of this room, water will only makes her stronger.
Pisces glanced from the masked man to Taylor, probably combat fighter she thought; their breathings were long and barely recognisable. As Taylor advanced further, five step, four step, three more steps till he can reach her, “aer!”
Suddenly a burst of mist originated from Pisces’s surrounding started to spread to all direction, soon filling the entire room in fogs. “What's going on?” Taylor yelled, “I can't see a thing in this damn fog!”
“What the hell just happen?” the masked man's voice appeared from a distance. “I can't even see my own fingers, the girl! Get the blue hair girl, don't let her escape!”
Taylor fidgeted around his surrounding to search for Pisces but was easily avoided by Pisces. She knows that this mist can't trap them long, after all they are strong warriors, but that's the best she could do in such short period of time.
Pisces began running toward the end of the building to search a stronger source of water than the vapours in this room. Then as she was about to thrust a water pole to destroy the wall, an alarm of some kind was send off.
Taylor pushed the alarm in his pocket, this alarm was designed for intruders and every manager has one. He never thought a day would come when he needed to use it and more over use it on a little girl. Just after he pushed the button a large bang was heard, followed by a rumble in the room. “What now?” he muttered under his breath “An earthquake is the last thing I'll need!”
Pisces smashed opened the wall and rushed out only to found herself surrounded by fighters of all kind.
