M/n Pov
I sighed walking around the expansive palace. My mother as you may have it was getting sicker and sicker but no one knew why. This led me to spend all my time with her and leave the small number of friends I had.
I sighed yet again.
She's dead now.
I could feel the tears slowly forming and I wiped them away quickly. I walked out of the palace and to a far away forest that was abosolutely gorgeous.
This forest was found by a friend of mine when we were little. I smile remembering the thought of us exploring every nook and cranny of this place.
*Flashback*
Two boys wander around the alluring forest. The trees lush and green towering over their small height.
The boys playfully run around with each other and the smaller one falls into a hole. The green eyed boy frantically call for his name over and over again and begins to cry over his lost friend but the he hears a faint sound.
" I'm over here!"
The boy quickly tries to follow the sound and finds a deep hole in the ground. It looked more like a tunnel really and he jumped right in.
The mud sticky and gross so when he hit the ground, he immediately started wiping himself.
The smaller one laughing at his antics and jestered him to come over to him. The green eyed boy does so hesitantly in case the smaller one is trying to pull a prank on him.
The smaller one rolls his eyes and takes his hand and pulls him deeper into the cave. The smaller boy says in amazement,
"Woooow..."
The taller boy chuckles at his expression with his mouth agape and looks up to the ceiling of the cave.
What he sees is beyond his belief and he looks around amazed.
There are colorful gems all around the cave shining brightly in random places.
They light up the cave and make a beautiful light.
They both wander around the cave until the smaller one finds a strange gem among all the other gems.
The gem itself is small and could fit into his pocket so he starts pulling on it to come out of the caves walls. He's pulling as hard as he can and grunts in his failed attempt to take out the gem.
The taller boy walks over to him and asks
"What are you doing?"
The smaller boy huffs and says while pointing at the peculiar gem,
"Trying to get this."
The green eyed boy's eyes follow over to the part in the cave that he's talking about and says
"But I don't see anything."
The smaller boy furrows his eye brows in confusion and says,
"Then what is it?"
The green eyed boy shurgs and says,
"I might have an explanation but it's kinda scary if you want to hear it."
The smaller boys says sassily,
"What? You think I can't take it?"
The green eyed boy shrugs and says smirking,
" I just don't want you crying to your mommy about this."
The smaller boy blushes and recomposes himself quickly and says whining,
"Whatever just tell meeeee."
The taller boy climbs up a big rock sits down on and pats the spot next to him.
The smaller boy rolls his eyes and attempts to climb up the rock and slips multiple times.
The taller boy laughs and holds out a hand for the smaller one chuckling.
The smaller boy blushes in embarrassment and takes his hand and quickly climbs up the rock. He accidently slips and falls into the taller's chest and now it was time for the taller to blush. The smaller boy too embarrassed to look up stays like that blushing more and more.
He can practically hear the taller's erratic heart beat and they say like that for a awkward amount of time.....
The taller coughs awkwardly with tints of red still on his cheeks and they separate immediately.
The taller one tries to continue,
"A-as I was saying, there are gems like that one you saw..."
The smaller's ears perk up to the new information being told and motions for him to continue.
The taller nods and continues to explain,
"There are what people believe to be 6 gems of absolute power..."
His bright green eyes ligthing up excitedly,
"They are the sole foundations to the universe,"
His eyes flicker over to the younger hesitating if he should tell the information but decides to go on.
"There are six colors blue, orange, red, green, purple, and yellow."
The smaller boy raises his eyebrows and says,
"Isn't there a black one?"
The green boys eyes look at the smaller alarmingly but there is a hint of excitement in his eyes and says,
"Is that what you saw?!"
He nods and says,
" You still have to tell me the full story."
He nods and continues to tell the story,
"The six gems are called the infinity stone obviously because of their infinate power. The blue one is the space gem, the orange one is the soul gem, the red one is the reality gem, the green one is the time gem, the purple one is the power gem, and the yellow one is the mind gem. They obviously do what they're called and are spread all over the universe."
The smaller raises a eyebrow and ask,
"How do you know about this?"
The taller rolls his eyes and says,
" Is that a rethorical question because I think you know the answer to that."
The smaller laughs and says,
"You're right continue talking."
He nods and continues on
" There is rumored to be a seventh gem. They say the one who holds it has all the powers of the other gems combined."
The smaller's eyebrows raise and he asks,
"How is that even possible?!"
The taller sighs and says,
"I'm getting there, so that is the amount of gems people believe there are but there is one mysterious gem that most don't know about."
The smaller inquires,
"What is it called?"
The other smirks,
"The shadow gem."
