"Remember Tamaki, when your soulmate dies, your vision will turn black and white," the elderly woman said to the young boy. He nodded, vowing to keep that in his mind for the rest of his days.

He felt a pain in his head, holding his temples roughly. His eyes shut tight, and he sat up in his hospital bed. When he opened his eyes again, after the searing pain, he was met with a horrifying sight....the already stagnant-colored hospital room, only colored by roses his beloved M/N left him days prior, had gone black and white....the only bits color left, was a single red rose. His shaking hands took the flower, and held it close to his chest as a scream ripped through his throat, tears spilling over his eyes. His whole world just crumbled in seconds, the only reminder of his soulmate the single red rose.

~Time Skip | One Week~

Mirio and Nejire sat beside the depressed pro hero. His physical wounds were healing well, but he barely spoke even a mumble since the news about M/N's passing due to a villain attack. Everyone sympathized with the still young hero, having to loose his soulmate at such a young age. They were only together for a year, before M/N was ripped so abruptly from his life.

He struggled. He struggled bad. He couldn't stand it without M/N. It was killing him. He hadn't had a decent meal in weeks, he hardly slept, and he couldn't get the news report of his boyfriend's death out of his head. He contemplated joining him, thinking that if he was gone, he should be too; he couldn't stand being away from him.

So he did.

Mirio found him, with a note held to the tree, which read..

I can't stand being away from you. I'm sorry, whoever finds this...tell everyone I love them. I just couldn't stand being away from him....I'm so sorry.
