Chapter Five: Memory Lane

Jimin almost has the same school schedule as me. I'm glad we have a few classes together but not so great because of kris. During math he kept staring at us the whole time. I think he was jealous, especially during lunch time. I wanted to make him jealous but I couldn't use jimin like that.

The girls and I get our food. We sat down at our table to wait for the other guys. Jisoo noticed Kris staring at our table and said something. This has to stop now. It has been a month since you guys broke up, Jisoo said. It was his choice to make. Now he regrets it. Well too bad, Rosé said.

Jimin and the guys walked through the cafeteria doors and came over to our table. Sorry we're late, I misplaced my phone. I needed help finding it, Jimin said.

Jungkook, what is that on your shirt? Jennie said. That's ketchup, he was eating my sandwich while we were looking for my phone. Jimin said, taking off his jacket and handing it to Jungkook.

Jungkook, take the jacket and cover the stain. Jimin said while looking at him. Jungkook takes the jacket and puts it on. We should get lunch before it's all gone. Jimin continued as Jungkook and Taehyung followed him to the lunch line.

~Jimin's POV~

Taehyung, Jungkook and I line up for lunch. What has Namjoon always told us when we are done eating? To always clean yourself up when done eating, I said. Jungkook and Taehyung just nod their heads while getting their trays. When we got our food, we headed back to y/n and her friends.

I saw Kris walking up to y/n and started talking to her. Y/N can we talk, maybe after school, Kris said. I set my food on the table and started to speak. Do you have amnesia? I told you she has plans with me after school.

Kris, we talked about this and I got tired of listening to the same thing on repeat, Y/N said. If you give me a second chance, I'll treat you better then this guy has. Kris said looking at me. Do you have a death wish or something? I said as I noticed Y/n walking away while Kris was talking to me.

Y/N's POV

I go to the vending machines to get a snack. While I insert the money into the machine, jimin comes up to talk to me. You don't have to worry about kris. I shut him up for now. Jimin started to place both his hands on my waist.

What are you doing? I said. Do you want Kris to be jealous? Make him understand what a good thing he lost in his life. Jimin said, whispering it into my ear.

Why are you asking me this? I said. Never mind then. Jimin said as he slowly moved his hands away but before he can, I put my hands on his.

I didn't say I don't want him to suffer. I said while his chin rested on my right shoulder. Jimin lets me go so I can get my snack. The bell rings and everyone goes back to class.

*School Ends*

We all walk out of school. So are we going on that date? Jimin asked. I thought you said that so Kris can leave us alone, I answered. Why would I joke about that? Jimin said. Go on the date with him, Rosé said.

I look at Jimin who has his car door open, waiting for me to get in. But what about Jungkook and Taehyung? Don't they need a ride home? I said. You don't need to worry about a thing. I called our hyung for a ride, Taehyung said. Can you please get in the car y/n, Lisa said. I started walking towards Jimin and got in the car.

Jimin parked his car across the street of a cafe shop downtown. I found a table to sit at and Jimin went to order. I look out the window and remember my 3rd date with kris. At this very cafe, Kris told me he loved me and gave me a necklace. I used to wear it ever since. Until I found him with another girl at a party a month ago.
