Q&A with Ryland & Sophia Adams

*3rd person POV*

"Hey you guys. Good Morning!" Ryland greeted, "As you can tell I'm in Shane's beauty room today & that's because I have a special guest." Sophia just sat there smiling and waved. "I am here with Sophia who, for those of you who are new to my channel, is my baby sister."
"I'm the youngest Adams."
"Yes, Sophia is the youngest of the siblings." Sophia laughed. "What?" Ryland asked. "I am only in competition with Morgan. You're making it sound like we have seven siblings. When in reality there's four of us, total," she explained. "Whatever. Like I was saying; Sophia is my youngest sister and there is eight years between us. I thought it would be interesting since she doesn't have a personal channel of her own, we could do a sibling Q&A together." He grabbed his phone from the coffee table, "I went to Twitter asking you guys for some questions. About anything."

"I kind of want you to not hold back but I'm also scared for what is going to be asked," she smiled. "It'll be fine. We'll start off easy. 'How many years are you guys apart?' Which is one I've been asked before in the past. Sophia, you want to answer?"
"He's older than me by eight years. So, pretty big age gap. I wasn't even in middle school yet when you got your drivers license. That's crazy to think about now."
"Yeah. I remember when you got yours, I was...shook." Sophia started laughing. "I was," Ryland defended himself, "You're the baby of the family and now you were all of a sudden driving. I was happy, obviously, but I think that's when it hit me you were no longer the little,...annoying girl asking me to drive you to your friends' houses all the time."
"Dang."

"Next, 'What was your relationship like growing up?' " Ryland answered first, "Just like with Morgan. We weren't that close. There's such a big age difference between us. We have gotten closer as we've gotten older."
"Yeah. I will add, you weren't always the nicest to me. I don't fully blame you though. I was this annoying little kid. That, once you had your license and a car, started begging you to take me here and there like all the time. I'm not surprised you were cold towards me. But there is one event from when I was ten that showed how much you actually cared about me," I added. "What event?," he asked. "May 4th," I answered. "Oh, yeah. It's a long story. We can do a separate video talking about that."
"If people actually want to know about it."

"How did you react to Sophia working for Clevver?" Sophia let out a laugh, "It wasn't great." While Ryland cringed, "Yeah. I didn't have the best reaction."
"To break it down. I was freelancing for some online news companies when I first arrived to California. After two months of doing that, Drew Dorsey, who works at Clevver, came to me asking if I wanted to work with her. I, of course, jumped at the opportunity. A constant, steady job is a nice thing to have. So, I started working there & I eventually moved out of Shane and Ryland's house to share an apartment with Drew. As I'm working there, no one in my life knows I'm working at Clevver. As it got closer to when my first videos came out, I realized I can't hide it anymore. I first told my parents, then Austin & Stacey. I went Shane to tell him and to figure out how to tell Ryland. He was happy for me. He encouraged me that it was going to be alright."
"Spoiler alert; it wasn't," Ryland chimed in. "Yeah. I sat him down to tell him. I was already so nervous. So, when I told him and he starts yelling, I'm a mess. He's yelling about how I shouldn't work there. That I should have came to him first. Going on how they treated him."
"I think at one point I told you to quit." Sophia nodded, "Yes, you did." She took a breather then continued, "Once he's done yelling, I leave the house just crying. I was prepared for the worst but was hoping for a better reaction. I drive to my apartment & lock myself in my bedroom. I'm so emotional, that I had to text Morgan to tell about the news because if I called her, she would have heard the tremors in my voice." Ryland finished it off, "For an entire week, we didn't speak or see each other. Shane was the one who made us come back together. He eventually got fed up with us avoiding each other. So, he sat us down to talk about the issue. I did realize during the week that I was projecting my own problems on to her. I was being an overprotective big brother and I didn't want her to face the issues I did."
"I love that you want to protect me but you needed to let me grow and experience things on my own." Ryland sighed, "I know."

"What did Sophia think of Shane when she first met him?"
"I liked him when I first met him," she answered simply. "They want more," Ryland prompted. "Alright. For months, Ryland was telling us, Morgan, Austin, and me, about him. Every text, phone call, every time he talked about Shane, he was just oozing with love. So, when I first met Shane, I knew how in love you were with him. I wanted to make sure you wouldn't get your heart broken. He was older than you and the first boyfriend of yours, that we would meet. We wanted to make sure he wouldn't hurt you. And then later, I learn that this is the only relationship you actually put some effort in. You were going to be fine. Anyways, Shane and Ryland decided to visit us for a few days in August. As soon as he walked into the house, he was this shy, timid guy. After you introduced Shane to us, I immediately started reading his aura." Sophia turned to Ryland, "I know you want to laugh but I do get vibes off of people. And I trust those feelings. Back to the story, I got these positive feelings off of him. His aura was sweet and loving. I was like, 'Oh, I trust you. You are going to take care of my big brother.' That was a nice feeling to have. Relief that I'm not going get a call in the middle of the night of Ryland crying due to a breakup." Ryland turned to her, "You were worried about that?" She nodded, "Yeah. It's a reasonable thing to worry about. But, Shane is amazing and I'm happy you guys got married."

"Any nicknames? Now and/or growing up?"
"I use to call him Ry Bread to annoy him," Sophia answered, "Now I just him Ry. Sometimes, I'll call him Ryan if one, I want to annoy him or two, I'm being lazy." Ryland nodded. "Sophia has multiple nicknames. Now, that we're all older, she's just called 'Soph'. But when we were growing up, there were TWO nicknames for her." Sophia turned to him and groaned, "No." He just smirked, "Yes. First nickname is 'Soap'. Because Sophia has butterfingers and drops practically everything. Second was 'Soup'. Which stems from the fact that soup is the only thing she can make and not ruin it." She just glared at him, "I hate you." Ryland just smirked, "I know."

"Shane & Ryland's wedding?" Sophia thought for a moment. "The wedding ceremony itself was beautiful. It was nice to be there when you and Shane decided to commit your lives to each other. Simple and very intimate ceremony. Very romantic," she smiled. "The post-wedding party?," Ryland prompted. "The post-wedding party. That was the best idea. It is the most you and Shane thing to do. The inflatables, the games, and Chipotle catering were great ideas. T-shirts and sweatpants as the dress code. To get out of that dress, let down my hair, and take off my makeup; so nice."
"We celebrated well into the night." Sophia nodded, "Everyone was having a blast. Even our parents and Teresa were enjoying the party."

"Last one and it's for me. Sophia is dating Andrew. Thoughts?" Sophia smirked, "What did you think, when we started dating?"
"Well, it was a surprise when you two told the rest of us. My little sister is dating mine and  Shane's friend. Complicated situation to be in. I wanted to be protective but I trusted him to take care of you. Also, Andrew immediately became a part of the family as soon as our parents found out." He turned to Sophia, "Are you happy with Andrew?" She smiled, "I am. Andrew makes me really happy." Ryland gave her a hug, "I'm glad. He does seem perfect for you."

Ryland turned to the camera, "That is all I have for you today. Sophia, thank you for joining me today."
"No problem. I'm glad I did this q&a with you."
"Me too," Ryland nodded, "I'll see you guys next video." He then grabbed his camera, "Together?" She nodded, "Together."
"I love ya, very much. Goodbye!"
