"Oh my god, Bennett! Do you see that purse over there?" Abby cooed, leading Bennett away from the sidewalk, gazing at a white leather purse that was sitting on a stand.

"Yeah, okay. What do you want me to do?" Bennett asked, raising an eyebrow.

Abby blinked, then rolled her eyes, "Oh, you're so funny, Benny! Obviously you know I need the purse!"

Bennett frowned, "Is it even necessary?"

Abby ignored him, pushing him into the store.

She gushed at almost everything there, from the limited edition clothing to famous makeup brands. Finally, her eyes landed back on the white leather purse.

"C'mon, Benny~ it'll make my day if you buy it for me!" Abby persuaded, her eyes hopeful. Bennett snorted, "You know I don't have the money now, Abby. I told you I left it at home."

Abby huffed irritatedly, "I know you at least have a credit card with you. Come on, Bennett. Hand the card over."

Bennett sighed, reaching into his inner pocket of his jacket before taking a credit card out, "There. Just the purse. No more."

As Bennett waited for Abby outside, he caught a glimpse of Naomi's auburn hair inside a café shop next to the store.

Naomi was sitting alone, her hoodie flung over her head, hiding her face from anyone faraway. She was silently drinking coffee, sitting in a dark corner of the already tiny café.

A person seemingly from school stopped by Naomi, opening his mouth as if to speak, before earning an instant retort from Naomi. The person had a sneer in his face, and with a swift movement, he grabbed Naomi's drink and spilled it on Naomi's grey hoodie, a splat of brown visible on the clothing.

Bennett wanted to step in and beat the guy to a pulp, but as he was about to take the first step inside, Abby came out of the shop, carrying a shopping bag that read 'Chanél'.

Abby pulled Bennett away from the café, dragging him by the wrist to his Maserati, "I need to head home. Mother called." She smiled sweetly- a little too sweetly- and batted her eyelashes.

"Abby, as much as I love to take you home, I'm afraid I have.. family issues to attend to." Bennett lied through his teeth, trying to keep a straight face.

Abby flung her arms in the air, exasperated, "Fine! I'll go home myself." She stopped for a moment, "But I'll be coming back tomorrow for more shopping." She added as an afterthought.

Bennett waved her goodbye, before rushing into the café, looking for Naomi.

"Excuse me, sir, have you seen a girl with brown hair and eyes, with black rimmed glasses?" Bennett asked the barista, who was busy making a strawberry milkshake.

"You mean Nerdy Naomi? She left a few minutes ago, after that guy over there accidentally spilled coffee on her. What a show!" He laughed.

Bennett grumbled, heading out of the café and got on his car, pulling the lever and rushed to the base.

"Naomi? Hey, open up." Bennett knocked on Naomi's door, standing with his hands clasped in front of him, his head hung low.

"N-no. Go away."

Bennett frowned, "You can tell me what's going on, you know?" He whispered, but loud enough for Naomi to hear.

"You wouldn't understand. Go away, Bennett."

Bennett sighed, "If you don't open up, I'm kicking down this door."
