Naomi sighed as she plopped down on the sofa, too tired to move. She had a great day with Parker, starting from him taking her to the mall and then both of them going to a food festival downtown.

She smiled, closing her eyes.

It was so quiet at the base, not a single person in sight, which was saying because it can never be quiet when Jordan's around.

"They probably went on a date." She murmured to herself, but then bursting into a fit of laughter at her childishness.

After she calmed down, she decided to go back to her room, prepping for a shower.

As she passed Bennett's room, she couldn't help but notice faint shouting from the other side of the door. Curious, she went over and pressed her ear against the wooden structure, listening intently.

"..I told you I've had enough of you!" Bennett literally screamed into his phone, "You can go to hell for all I care!"

A thud came from inside and Naomi assumed he had put down his phone, but turning it on speaker, "Bennett, you know father isn't going to be pleased from your reply-"

"I don't fucking care." Bennett spat, "Tell father that Bennett Frazier flipped him the bird."

His brother scowled from the other side of the phone, "Father won't go easy on you, brother. You know very well that he wants you to succeed in his posi-"

Bentley was cut off as Bennett ended the phone call.

"Stupid Bentley." Naomi heard Bennett mutter, "Stupid father. Stupid company. Stupid life problems."

She heard him sigh as he dropped down on the floor, his back against the door frame, "Why can no one understand me?" Naomi's heart stopped beating as she heard Bennett say that, his voice cracking.

Naomi had never thought that the Bennett Frazier, stressing about his problems. Sure, he was always quiet about what was bothering him. But honestly? He was always quiet.

Naomi snorted mentally at her idea.

She heard the creak of the floorboard as Bennett stood up, the sound of his footsteps echoing around his room, pacing.

"Who do I want to talk to about this?" He muttered to himself, "Definitely not Jordan. He'll laugh at me."

Naomi scoffed, got that right.

"Declan? No.. he'll probably walk straight up at my father and beat him to a pulp. I don't want that happening." Bennett paused for a moment, "Yet."

Bennett stopped pacing, "Naomi?"

Wait, does he know I'm here-

"Oh my god," he mumbled, probably embarrassed, "I'm sharing feelings with a girl."

Naomi breathed out in relief.

At the same time, she wanted to storm in there and have a three hour rant about how girls can also have a share in ones' feelings too, but figured it wasn't the best time to do so.

She'd do that another day.

Naomi turned on her heels to leave, but the slight creak from the door couldn't be more obvious that Bennett was out of his room.

"Were you eavesdropping?"

Naomi felt her ears redden, her cheek flushed, "I- uh.. was just.. walking by?" She silently cursed under her breath for making it a question, "I mean, I was just walking by."

Bennett hesitated for a moment, "If you have time, I'd.. like to talk. With you."

If she could get any redder, Naomi would certainly look like a cherry.
