I lazily walk to the kitchen, yarning. Am starving. Ummah went to visit a friend while Waleed and Teemah are still in school, am home alone.

I open the food store cabinet, deciding what to cook. I finally agree on preparing Noodles, which is easy. I brought out three parks, walk to the freezer to get some ingredients. I was about to start cooking when I heard someone closing the door.

"Ummah! " I called but there was no answer. Who will it be? Waleed or Teemah?

Waleed usually come back around 4pm and sometimes 5 while Teemah around 2:30pm and now is just 1pm. Then who will that be.

Inalilahi, I quickly grab a pistil next to me and tip toe slowly out of the kitchen to the parlor, there was no one.

"Feesat" someone called from behind making me jumb and fall on the ground

"Haba Sureeh, what's this"

She started laughing
"Are you planning on using that on me " she point at the pistil I took from the floor when I stood up

"Ehen, God saved you" I walk to the kitchen

She followed behind and jamb on the island
"What are you doing " she asked looking at the ingredients next to her

"What did you see" I answer, bringing out a pot and place it on the electric cooker

"So tell me how it goes with your in-laws "

"It was great, Alhamdulillah" I poured some oil into the pot

"And his Mother? "

"She is cool, she received me with her two hands and treat me so sweet. I like her"

"You are lucky then, most mother in-law are evil"

"Yeah, mine is different. And his sisters are cool too"

"That's good to here then"

"So tell me, how have you been with Bashir" I looked at her

"Hmmm, we are good"

"Are you sure! "

"Well, there is this girl I usually see with him, almost all the time I meet him, I don't who she is"

"Did you ask him who she is"

"No I didn't "

"And he did not tell you anything about her"

"Nop, you see Bashir is a type that don't  tell you anything if you don't ask and I will not ask him "

"You will just keep on hurting yourself then, jealousy will kill you" I poured water into the pot and covered it

"Am not jealous "

"Aha, you can say that again Sureeh"

"Whatever " she rolled her eyes

"Have been calling Nazeef since in the morning, he isn't picking " I took my phone and glaze  at it

" Maybe he is at work, busy probably "

"But he didn't pick last night either "

"Toh, that's wierd "

I drop the phone on the cabinet and pick the indomie

"Don't tell me you're cooking three after seeing me"

I rolled my eyes and shake my head. I add one more to it, making four
