"How am I going to tell her?"

You looked at the pregnancy test. It came out positive. You've only been with Cynthia for nine months.

Just the thought of you carrying her child excites, yet terrifies you. You didn't know if Cynthia would reject you and the child. You were scared about how she would react.

You looked down at your belly and even though there was a small bump, it's not that noticeable. However, you can't hide this from her. You'll need to come clean to her.

You decided to make a small deal with her. You dialed her number on your cell and waited for her to pick up. "Hey, Cynthia?"

"(Y/N), how are you doing, is there something wrong?"

You felt your heart race. Too nervous to tell her the news. "Could we meet up for a battle? I would like to make a bet with you."

"Oh? What would that be?" She asked curiously. You told her how you had something very important to say.

Where if you lose you'll have to tell her the news. Where is that if Cynthia loses, she'll have to do the house cleaning for a month.

"Deal. Meet me at our usual spot."

"There you are. It's been a while since we have battled right? But, I am ready whenever you are. Will it be one on one or six on six?" She asks, feeling ambitious about this battle.

Cynthia asked and she knew which Pokémon she would take out. You smiled and pulled out your pokeball. "Six on six, it'll be more challenging and fun for both of us."

"Let us begin." Cynthia smiles.

"How do I keep losing?!" You laughed walking over to Cynthia with a small smile.

"You're more focused on attacks instead of defense." She smiles and kisses your cheek.

"A bet is a bet. What are you going to tell me that's so important? Will it blow my mind?"

You completely forgot about the bet. You felt your heart race again like before. You grabbed her hand and placed her hand on your belly.

"I'm pregnant." You said. Cynthia widened her eyes. She pulled her hand away, you looked up at her with worried eyes. When you made eye contact with her, she seemed so shocked.

"You're pregnant...?" She asked quietly. You nodded your head. Cynthia smiles joyfully and lifted up your shirt, seeing the small baby bump.

She had tears eyes and began to kiss your belly all over the place and pressed her forehead on it. "Our baby. We're going to become a family."

You felt the tears coming in. You felt so happy that she wasn't mad about this whole thing. You kissed the top of her head, smiling to yourself about starting a family with Cynthia.
