Brooke's P.O.V:

It had all happened a little too fast for me to grasp it, but suddenly I was seated on a plane to New York where the Magcon Tour was starting off. In two weeks, the boys and I would get to travel to all different kinds of places all over the States. I couldn't believe this really happened to me. "Who are you rooming with at Magcon?" Matt asked me. He was seated in front of me but that didn't stop him from turning his head around every third second and talk to me. "I don't know", I shrugged. I looked over at Nash who was sleeping with his head on the window, blocking the amazing view. I was actually the one who had gotten the window seat, but Nash had insisted on switching with me because he apparently often got window seats with no windows. "I guess I'm sleeping with Nash, I suppose",  I started but trailed off and tried to remember previous Magcons. I remembered Nash telling me that the boys always shared rooms. I guess there were no girls allowed.

"Uhm, there's actually another girl staying with us in New York, only in New York though", Matt said. "She's not coming to Magcon but she's in town for some other business and we're connected. You can room with her if you'd like". I nodded. "Yeah sure, it'd be nice sharing rooms with a girl", I responded, although I didn't mean it. It'd be much, much nicer to room with Nash who I was utterly and totally comfortable with. Matt scratched his neck. "Have you heard of Madison Beer?" he asked nervously. I nodded slowly. I mean, who hadn't heard of her and all the rumors about her having a thing with everyone of the guys. I wasn't really a fan of hers but I liked her songs and wasn't a hater.

"Yeah, I'll room with her", I said. It would, after all, be nice to know a few girls here and there. Mahogany and I had spent some time together at Nash's house and although I loved him to pieces, it definitely felt good having some girls around me as well. I plugged my headphones into my ears and shuffle played the playlist I had made for flights. I chuckled when the first song that came on was Unbreakable by Madison Beer. What were the odds for that?

...

"Brooooooke", a voice said. "Brooooooooke". I turned around and kept on sleeping. "Babe", I heard a voice say next to me. "Babe, we're here. Wake up, cutie". I groaned and turned my head around. It felt like my head was going to explode. I slowly opened my eyes and let them adjust to the bright light that hit me. My eyes met a pair of crazy blue ones and I immediately knew it was Hayes. "I'm up, Hayes", I said and tried to unbuckle my seat belt and failed. My mind wasn't with me and I felt dizzy. I hadn't eaten anything all day and even though North Caroline to New York wasn't the longest flight, the lack of nutrition still made me feel crazy sick. "You are so pale", Hayes chuckled while unbuckling my seat. I mean, how much of an idiot was I, needing help to do such a simple task. I tried to come up with a comeback but failed and decided to settle on a sarcastic smile.

"So you're rooming with Madison, right?" he asked when I eventually found the strength to get up from my seat. I nodded slightly but my main priority was focusing. Everything was a blur at the moment. "You okay?" Hayed asked as he grabbed my purse. "Yeah", I said and steadied myself by leaning into him. My head was spinning and for a second I was worried I'd faint. "I think I need to eat something. I think I'm gonna pass out". Hayes put his strong arms around me and held me tight. "Well, lucky for you, I bought a sandwich at the airport and I only ate half of it. You can have the rest". I ate Hayes' part of the sandwich, which helped momentarily and we proceeded out of the plane and towards the check out signs.

I could see the boys by the luggage claim, standing in a circle while waiting for the luggage to arrive. There was also a girl by them, which I soon realized had to be Madison. She was tall, tan, dark haired and incredibly pretty. Like wow. Hayes grabbed my hand and dragged me over to them. I was still a little shaky but the sandwich had definitely kicked in and I could feel the color coming back to my face. "Hi, I'm Madison", the girl said when we arrived. She seemed to be around sixteen. I smiled and took my hand out to shook hers. "Brooke", I responded. "It's so nice to meet you". Madison pulled me into a hug and then we turned around to the rest of the group. I caught a weird look between Hayes and Madison, but perhaps I was imagining it. We were all talking about how excited Magcon was going to be when I got a notification and flipped my phone out of my pocket. Turns out I had gotten a message from my mom.

Birthgiver: Hi baby, hope you're doing well! I sure do miss you loads and can't wait to see you again soon. Miss my bestie! Give me a call when you're safe and sound in New York, alright?❤️Love you😘

I smiled. My mom and I had the closest relationship ever and I was so grateful for that. I was quick to reply.

Me: Alright momma, we've landed but i'll call u when we get to the hotel! Miss u loads too ❤️the boys are all amazing but it's hard to be away from my bestie👭

After hitting send, the luggage had arrived. Nash carried my suitcase for me, and fifteen minutes later we were all seated in two huge cabs, driving towards the city and what was hopefully becoming the best experience I had had in a while.
