" Dad! Where are you!? " Kody called out but to no avail. We were lost trying to find Master Aiden, he always wanders off like this but this time we couldn't find him. Kody grumbled quietly, while I followed behind him silently " Kody, look " I pointed to a white-haired boy that was laying down underneath a window of an abandoned building. We walked over to him, Kody shook him awake " Hey! HEY! " " W-Wha..! What!? " The white-haired boy woke up " Finally, what are you doing in a place like this? " Kody asked, looking down at the weird boy... Wait... Why does he seem... familiar..? He looked at us in surprise, he then thought for a moment "Um... I-I'm sorry! I'll go somewhere else! " " Wait! " Before the boy could go, Kody made him stop " Do you know where the train station is? " " U-Uh yeah... I think... A-Are you lost? " " Well duh. We wouldn't be asking you otherwise. I was visiting this city with my dad and my butler but got lost. Our car is near the train station. So, can you take us there or not? " Kody explained "Um... Don't you have a phone? " Kody sighed, while I giggled silently at their actions " Hey " There was a voice behind us, so we turned around to find a boy, older than us, with dark dirty blue hair and eyes, looking weirdly at us " What are you brats doing here? It's already past your bedtime " " Uh... Nothing... Just trying to find our way to the train station " " Hm. Well, you're far away from it " This guy is giving me a bad vibe... " Umm yeah, we figured that too... We'll get going now- " " Wait a second " The boy put his hand in the way so that we couldn't go any further " W-What? " The white-haired boy asked, uneasiness clear in his voice " Let's make a deal... I'll show you the way to the train station if you pay me " The older one smirked "Um... No thank you... We'll manage ourselves... " Tension started to rise in the air, it was so thick you could cut it with a knife " Hey, I won't ask for much " The boy reassured, trying to get something out " I don't have any money... " Then, the older one saw that there's no point in that deal he wanted to make earlier " Sorry, but I can't let you three pass before you give me money... Since I really need money right now " I could see he was desperate " Then get a job, bum " Kody replied annoyingly. Me and the white-haired boy looked at him with faces that screamed 'Do you want us to get killed!?'. The older boy looked like he was gonna explode any time soon " Okay, so I tried to be nice... " I could hear somebody walking behind him even tho he was talking " But you kinda touched the nerve there... " Then, two weredogs emerged from the shadows " Meet my two friends... Who will bite your limbs off if you don't do as I say... " The weredogs growled loudly, scaring me and the white-haired boy " But I really don't have money... Threatening me won't change that fact... " He added the last part quietly " Liar! At least you have something valuable! Give me your backpack! " I guess that set the younger boy at the edge because the next thing he did... He bit the older one that was trying to get his backpack. The dark-haired boy screamed in pain " Y-YOU BRAT! " He yelled while pressing his other hand on the one that was bleeding " A-Ah! I'm sorry I didn't mean to- " " Oh, sure you didn't... You little piece of-... " Good thing he didn't finish that sentence " GET HIM! " He called out to his weredog friends " W-Wait! I don't want to fight! " The white-haired boy tried to talk things out, but the older one didn't " Too bad! Think before attacking someone next time! " The two weredogs walked slowly towards the white-haired boy, growling loudly. The boy looked troubled like he was debating something. Fight them, you idiot! I stood in front of Kody protectively, before something unexpected happened...
