Mother dearest

I don't even know how to explain how am feeling right now, am in history class whan my mlnd is still thinking about why mom won't sign that stupid piece of paper, let me explain, our school Hilda Houston Girls Highschool is hosting two classes from the samq grade for a three week campout at the Manlan Mansion in Slolan city and my mom won't sign the papers that say I can go with the rest of the group.  I know its the only thing my three bestfriends will be talking about, lunch came a few minutes after I zoned out

"She still hasn't signed them????" Savannah or Anna as I call her said as we walked to the cafeteria  and Lily and Kenny waved at us to hurry up "Ms Rose,now what's with that pitiful expression??" Lily said knowing full well I hate being called Ms and I just can't help but think she knows exactly how to push my buttons but am not in the mood for it so I just adjust my glasses and everybody at the table goes "ooh" and I just rolled my eyes "I don't know why she just wont sign it , I tried everything but to no avail" I said sucking on my juice box"She must be scared to let you out of her sight after what happened last time " Kenny said in a duh tone and I know she's right but that incidence was 3 years ago and I don't understand why she won't get over it did,well, I did after 4 sessions of therapy every week for 14 months, can you blame me I witnessed.......

"Ms Banner, my office now!" Our principal Mr Preston said and the girls went silent"Now!!" He said a bit louder catching the whole cafeterias attention, I nodded and followed behind him as he led me to his office. We got to his office and he gestured me to sit just as he tookva sit behind his desk "You haven't handed in your permission slip" he said and I noddede "why??" He said with his big bassy voice "Because my mom won't sign it " I said looking down at my uniform pattern " Ms Banner, you are an intelligent young lady and I think you can truly benefit from this trip ,give this to you mother and she will understand" he said handing me a seal letter " Thank you sir" I said and left the office  " Well, well it looks like Ms goodie-two-shoes got into trouble" Beth said showing off here deep dark dimples, I really wish she was in that warehouse

"Save it Beth am not in the mood" I said trying to walk away  "When will you ever be,oh come on now what's wrong with a little fun??" Beth asked giving me a sickening sweet smile and I do my thing "Fun is the way and place you were born..." Beth rudely cut me off "And how was I born??"  I smirked "On a highway coz that's where most accidents happen" I said and Beth's entourage snickered while she glared really intensely "OK, ladies I gotta go!" I said a bit louder and walked away " Hey what did......" Anna was cut off by the bell ringing "You'll tell us in class"  we packed our stuff and went in class after 30 minutes the principal announced thee won't be any school because of the preparation for the trip.

I got home as fast as I could and found mom making dinner " Hey,mom you're home early "yeah, well it is a Friday, what's that?" She said pointing at the envelope " Its a letter from the principal," I said handing it over to her, I let her read the letter as I went upstairs to freshen up. I came downstairs and she was standing at the doorway to the kitchen " We need to talk now!" She said in a serious tone  and led me to take  a seat in the living room "Do you really want to go to this camp out??" She asked dangerously cooly "Yes,"  I said not knowing what to say even though I wanted this badly " Rose you know why I don't want you going away from me, I couldn't bear it if you....." She said tears streaming down her face and I rushed over to comfort her "Mom I promise I won't get into that trouble and mom the Manlan Mansion is the most guarded place in Slolan,I promise I'll be fine" I said kissing her hands repeatedly "If you are really sure then.." She said while signing the paper and handing it to me

"Go and have fun, but Rose at the first sign of trouble CALL THE POLICE!" I nodded and gave her a hug and went straight away to get packing. After I finished packing I laid on my bed thinking  about Slolan city and all the memories I left behind there ,I guess I have to face them now and I drifted off to sleep letting my tragic and horrible past memories rock me to sleep.
