18 year old Maddison Carter for years wondered of her birth parents she was adopted when she was born after her adopted mother passes away she goes on the search for her birth parents she ends up finding her father his name Max Goodwin except he has another family Maddison finds it hard to adapt to her new life especially since she's the youngest resident in the country. But her life isn't and hasn't always been perfect especially when she finds out that her father has been hiding the fact that he has cancer which hurts her because she has already lost him once so she pushes him away.
She leaves until she hears the news of Georgia's death she returns to New Amsterdam hoping to heal there relationship for the good of her sister Luna but will they be able to once she finds out that her father is dating the woman she's been secretly in love with for years.
