It's almost been a week since I took Sydney out on a date and I honestly miss talking to her. I want to hit her up but I just haven't found the time to. I leave for Miami tomorrow and I don't want to leave without saying goodbye. I also have a little 4 day break so maybe me and her can hang out while I'm still in Miami.

After a little bit of contemplating, I decided I was gonna go to her house and see her. I hopped in my car and drove to her house. I made it to her house so I walked to her door and knocked three times. I saw her walking down the stairs and she opened the door surprised to see me.

Hey, what are you doing here? She said smiling

Well, I'm going to Miami tomorrow and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me? Of course you can say no but I would love it if you came, I asked smiling slightly

I mean that would require me to buy a last minute plane ticket- don't worry I got you covered, I said cutting her off. I paid for a ticket just in case she said yes

Well I still have to pack but I'll go, she said opening the door fully so I could come in.

Come on, she said running up the stairs. I walked slowly up the stairs and saw a suitcase being thrown out of her closet. I walked in and sat on the floor. I watched her throw clothes around and run back and forth from her bathroom and closet.

Calm down syd, the flight isn't until 11 and I will have my driver pick you up at 7:45 so you can get there a little early. You also don't need all those clothes for 4 days, I said laughing as she gives me a stank face

Well thanks for telling me that sooner, she said sarcastically. She puts the stuff she didn't want to wear back and closes her finished suitcase. She plopped on her bed breathing hard. I got up and laid next to her staring at the ceiling.

I missed you, I said looking at her. She smiled and the looked at me

I missed you too. I thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore, she said

Why? Because you wanted to go somewhere different? I told you I wasn't upset about that. As long as I got to hang out with you I was fine with wherever we went but I have been really busy lately and that took time away from me talking to you so I'm sorry about that, I said sincerely

You don't have to apologize, I knew that you were a busy person before we ever got to know each other. I'm excited for this little vacation though, she said doing what I think was a happy dance. I laughed and hugged her tightly. We hugged for a few minutes and then parted slowly. We looked into each other's eyes and smiled. I wanted to kiss her but no need to rush it.

I think I should get going, I said sitting up and putting my shoes on

Yea of course, I'll walk you out, she said as she walked downstairs with me following suit

Thanks for coming by to chill for a little bit, I honestly wanted the company, she said smiling

Anytime, I'll see you tomorrow. I opened the door and kissed her cheek before I left. I walked to my car with a smile on my face. I drove home
feeling happy and I went to sleep feeling the same way.
