{Em}

"Hello Bluebird," Graser says, "You're awfully far from the nest."
"Don't call me Bluebird," I say
"What brings you all the way out here?" He asks
"Let me go Grase."
"Why would I do that when we're having so much fun?" He says, "This is what, your third time here?" He nods, "Well, third time's a charm."
"What-"
"Em? Em, can you hear me?" I put my hand over my necklace to silence it.
"Well, what do we have here?" Graser pulls my necklace off.
"Em? Where are you?"
"Hello Savior," Graser smiles, "A poor little bird got separated from her flock, but it's ok, she's safe with me now."
"Graser, let Em go," Shelby says
"Not until you say the magic word."
"Please?" Shelby asks hopefully.
"Please?" Graser laughs, "Very close actually, the magic word is prince. Bring me the prince and your bird will be returned without her wings clipped."
"Shelby don't I-" He crushes the necklace before I can finish. I stare at his red eyes and shake my head.
"What happened to you?" I ask
"What happened to me?" He says, "I almost died. I was so close to death I could feel it. You will never feel such a great rush until you're so close to death that you can't move. It made me feel powerful." I look around quickly.
"You're gonna make him join you," I say flatly
"You always did catch on quickly."
"He's gonna fight you the entire time," I say, "Let me join you instead."
"How do I know you won't fight either?"
"My people are dead and my home is gone," I say, "I have nothing left to fight for on that side."

Lauren walks in and smiles, her eyes glow purple.
"You're now one of us." I look at myself in the mirror and blink, my eyes glow blue.
"Now what?" I ask
"Now the queen wants to meet you." She says, "Come on." We appear in a large, fancy room in front of two people sitting in thrones, a smaller throne sits empty in between them. "Your majesties, I brought her." I bow my head for a second.
"You must be Emily." The queen says sternly.
"Yes, I am." She nods.
"You will be of use to us here," The king says, "But first, you must prove your loyalty."
"How?"
"We have planned a raid for tomorrow," The queen says, "Help us in it, then take an oath of loyalty and we will know whose side you are on." I nod.
"What do you need me to do for the raid?"
"The town is Peach Town," The king says, "We need you to tell us where the hidden supplies are and cause some chaos while you're there."
"Peach Town is one of the light side's biggest supply storages," I quickly shift from a frown to a smile, "That is perfect."
"Naturally."
"Will I have to, uh..."
"Don't mumble in front of the queen, it is bad manners."
"Sorry Your Majesty," I clear my throat, "Do you expect me to kill people? Because I am new to all of this and it is not because I'm not loyal to you, but if my old friends see me kill someone, they'll think I can't be saved and they won't come to get me. It will ruin your chances of getting the Savior on your side." The king and queen nod.
"That is smart," The king says, "You shall not kill anybody, make it look like you can be saved."
"Of course," I say
"Good, you two are dismissed." I bow my head again before teleporting away with Lauren.

I stand in the middle of the path, terrified people run past me, not even daring to look at me. I look down, a small girl looks up at me.
"H-Have you seen my mommy?" I stare at her for a minute, her words echoing in my chest. "Miss?" I shake my head slowly.
She has no idea I did this. She keeps walking around aimlessly, looking in abandoned buildings for her mother. I turn around, someone stops, almost running into me. They look at me with fear.
Fear. I caused this much fear. I look and my hands, my fingers spark, and energy fills me. I walk down the street, looking in houses and stores. I walk down the stairs of a small store and open the door to a secret room.
Place the explosive, light up, and get the hell out of there. I put down the small ball, activate it, and teleport back up the street. After a second the ground shakes which causes more panic and screaming.
"All done..." I look around at the chaos, my eyes glow.
"It's her!" Anyone who's near me pushes to get as far away from me as possible. Scott appears in front of me.
"Em-" I hold out my hand, my last explosive appears in my palm. "Em don't."
"You can get me," I say, "Or you can prove that you aren't who you were." I press the button on the sphere, it starts glowing red.
"Em don't do this." I smile.
"Clock's ticking Prince." I throw it as far as I can.
