Chapter 7: Demonic Surprise

The sky had turned dark as I finished my make up. A short knee-high, black, over the shoulder and skin-tight dress lay on my hips. Black high heels rest on my feet. Fishnet stockings hugged my legs. My hair was in a neat bun above my head. My eyeshadow was black but somehow the hearts on my eyelids shown throw. Crimson red lipstick was painted on my lips. I was actually pretty for once. Something was different about tonight and I don't know why.

A moment later my ears catch the sound of a knock that reminded me of a song but I didn't know what one. I make my way over to the door. I opened it slowly to see Alastor in a different suit than normal. It was a lot more formal than his usual one but it was still red. I watched as a blush rose to his cheeks. After I finished opening the door he leaned down and planted a long kiss on my lips. He then held out his hand and I took it. He leads me out of the Hotel and into his town car.

After 10 to 20 minutes we come upon a super fancy restraint. Once Alastor parked the car he walked over to my side and opened the door. Once again he offered his hand and I took it. He helped me out of the car like the gentleman he was. I had been smiling the whole time. My arm than l8nked to his and he led me inside.

Once inside I noticed how high class the establishment was. Without knowing I asked, "Alastor what's this all about?" I heard him chuckle and say, "Darling you'll have to wait and see."

"Reservations?" A male demon asks while looking at me with a creepy gaze.

"Yes under Alastor." My love replies.

"This way then." He usurses us to fallow.

He leads us to a small table for two right next to a window that showed a really good view of the city. Like on our first date Alastor pulls my chair out for me and I sit down. He then goes to his seat and sits down. The waiter gives us our menus. Finally, he leaves but not before his gaze lingers on me more than it should. I felt a shiver crawl up my spine. Alastor also shot the waiter a glare before he left.

Right away, I picked up my menu and picked my meal and set the menu back down. My eyes then lock with his glowing ones. I was now lost in them.

"Alice darling..." I hear his voice pause. "I have something important to ask you." He finishes

He stands up and takes a few steps towards me. He kneels down on one knee his eyes level with mine. He takes a deep breath as he pulls out a red velvet box. I watch as he gulps a bit and opens the box. Inside there was a black ring with a crimson diamond rose. "Alice Stormwood would you do me the honor of spending eternity with me?" My hand camping up to my mouth and my face fell into a shocked expression. For a moment I sat there shocked and stunned. My face burned a dark gray. Finally at last I said ink tears in my eyes, "Alastor The Radio Demon The is no other demon I'd rather spend eternity with." With that his smile widened and he place the ring on my finger. I grabbed him by the collar of his jacket and pulled him to me drawing him into a long kiss. After we pulled away for air o let go of his collar.

"I love you so much," I said passionately.

"I love you too darling," he said with happiness.

He then went back to his seat. If on que the waiter returns with our meals. Another came with a bottle of red wine. They poured our glasses and left. Later, we returned to the hotel.

-the next day-

Alastor and I sat on the couch cuddling. Our hands had intertwined. My head lay on his shoulder.

My ears suddenly twitched with the sound of the Hotel door opening. I didn't look over though.

"Why hello the William." Charlie's cheerful voice rang through the foyer.

"Hello princess how are you. A fromiler male voice rang through the air. A voice I hadn't heard in over 100 years. I turned my head to see a familiar face. He had bunny ears like mine. His hair was also violet like mine. I shrunk behind the couch as I stared at him. How did my dad find me? Then it hit me the family connection.

My family has a weird connection that always us to find each other when an engagement happens. I watch as he speaks with hell's princess. After A minute she points to me. I hide behind the couch not realizing my tall ears where exposed.

"Alice!" I hear Charlie.

Right then I hear, "Boo." In a deep tone causing me to super jump into the air. I quickly fell back to the couch bouncing up and down a few times before I settled. I looked at my dad who was die smiling and said, "What the hell." He let out a chuckle before he asked, "Is that how you greet you dad Alice?" I grumble a bit and cross my arms.

"So Alice are you going to introduce me to the young gentleman beside you? He says gesturing to the confused Radio Demon beside me.

"Dad this is Alastor... My fiance." I say.

Dad looks to Alastor and holds out his hand and says, "Hello I'm William Alice's father. A pleasure." Alastor quickly shakes his hand and says, "A pleasure to meet you Mr. Stormwood."

"Call me Will." Dad says as he lets go of Alastor's hand.

Alastor stands up and disappears. I look back at my dad and ask, "So what brings you here." I knew exactly why but I asked anyway.

"Alice my child you know." He states.

Dad then tossed me something. I caught it. It was my old deer plush. I hugged it to my chest.
